Nice place, lovely village, but level of cleanliness was poor
The dishwasher and sink had a leak so we had to use the laundry room sink. These things happen, we did not make any fuss about it. Part of the charm of the property is that everything is a bit mismatched / old, which we also loved. The property, however, needs a deep clean. The floors were very dirty, the bedding smelt musty and one of the beds had random bits of bread under the duvet, very odd. Glassware etc all had to be washed before use too, really not ideal. The old trampoline in the garden is very unsafe and I am glad we didn't have any kids with us who would want to play on it. A note also that a lot of the bedrooms are very bright, with only very light curtains.

Beautiful home but be aware it may not be clean…
This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water bottles and tissues under the beds. We also found an old wine glass with wine (possibly months old) on display in the kitchen shelves… But other than that I am still glad we stayed at this property.

A beautiful country home
The house is stunning. The kitchen lounge dining area is very spacious, larger than it looks on the pictures. It is a country house so there are spiders and a lot of cobwebs and dust. The kitchen was well equiped but lots of things were a little bit broken. We were blessed with a beautiful sunny weekend and really enjoyed the garden. With the local cat and neighbours dog to keep us company! However this did mean that the bedrooms wwere also very bright and eye masks are an absolute must since there is a skylight in one of the bedrooms. There is a neighbour

Great location, disappointing property
Great location in a lovely village. Excellent pub close by. In terms of the property, we had to call the property owner about a number of things. Should these be resolved, this could easily be a 5 star property. The lack of reviews of the property is also quite telling. Expect a visit from the resident cat during the night!

Nice barn in cute village
Had a lovely few days in Steph’s barn. Spent a lot of time in the garden and had a lovely walk around the village. Well equipped kitchen and nice rooms. Stephanie was very accommodating with any issues we had. Thanks!

Adorable family home
Our stay was lovely, meeting up with family plus three dogs to celebrate Christmas, parking for 4 cars, large garden for dogs to run around in a pretty village with the essential pub…The house was well equipped with extras like books and games, we were only there 3 nights so didn’t venture far , a quick trip to diddly squat farm and a walk around Witney, would love to return in the summer and explore some more, thanks Stephanie!

Langford
Beautiful house in wonderful Cotswold village. Would benefit from a bit more preparation of the property in advance of visitors in cleanliness and tidiness, but the property is itself quite lovely. Large garden and stunning kitchen sitting room. Village is perfectly located with a wonderful, quite special pub 2 minutes walk away.
