Room amenities and housekeeping standard of my Queen room were excellent. The location near the station and the town centre was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was on arrival there was only 1 person on reception at about 4pm and it was at least 5 minutes wait whilst I stood for check in.

Lovely Hotel
The hotel is lovely we have stayed here a few times now and always come back. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We were lucky our room was ready before the checking time so was able to check in early.

Only a 1 night business trip, so no time to make full use of the facilities. The staff however were excellent, especially Robin who was on reception when I arrived late in the evening to check in. My reservation had not been properly added to the system and so she was unable to check me in. We quickly established that I should have been booked in and although it took nearly 30 mins to resolve she ensured I was looked after, arranged a drink from the bar and ensured the issue was resolved. After similar situations I have experienced in the past, it was refreshing to have someone take so much care to resolve the situation. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel.
