This motel feels like it was cobbled together in bits and pieces. Unmarked stairs in weird places, no handrails. Power strips to plug in tv, fridge etc. aren't safe. Staff was friendly and helpful and accommodations were comfortable. My personal opinion is that it is WAY overpriced for what it is. The property is old and dated.

We went to Tanglewood for the 1st time. This hotel was perfect for suiting our needs. We checked in, went to Tanglewood & came home & slept. I wasn't crazy about the bed & pillow (I forgot mine at home-we drove here), but I had a great time at the concert, cooled off in the pool the next morning, left a little late (which the hotel was fine with) and drove home. It was a good time, a comfortable stay, nice people who were flexible (because it didn't cost us extra to stay until almost noon, when check out is at 11:00). The rooms have a coffee machine, but it's not Keurig, but we brought our own. We're apologetically fussy. It was soooo nice in the pool in the AM, 1st drinking our coffee, then taking a dip before we left. Calming. I would absolutely stay there again.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room. When we checked in they not only tried to give me a room upstairs. Then they gave us a queen room downstairs and my walker could not fit through the bathroom door. So we had to cancel since they could not accommodate my physical disability. The owner/manager stated he would cancel the reservation and put in for a refund on the card. Then as we were leaving to head to the new motel, the owner/manager then came out to the car and started arguing with us. Everything he did was deceiving.

The outside had been freshly painted. The rooms were in average condition, but had not been cleaned. There was hair all over the bathroom and furniture had not been dusted. First room had hair in sink and on toilet were provided a second room and while a little better there was hair all over the bathroom floor.
