This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The first visit was the same way, but figured I’d give it another chance. We will not be returning.
The price went up substantially from the previous stay which was only 6 months ago. For this price, it’s better to stay at a nicer and newer hotel and even get a free breakfast- something this one doesn’t offer. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is the water park. But even the water park wasn’t great. You shouldn’t have to slow yourself down on a slide just to ensure your own safety. My kiddo banged his head on the side because of the sharp and fast turns. They kindly gave us an ice pack.
The lifeguards were great.
The bathrooms in the waterpark barely had toilet paper in the three stalls, one toilet was plugged and I’m very serious that none of the 4 or 5 soap dispensers were either not working or empty.
Back to the room itself: the bathroom is outdated, cracks around door frames, and a cracked handle in the tub. The main door had a missing flange at the bottom so a LOT of light was coming in under the door. Yea I could block it with towels but…should I have to? The tv was also pretty obnoxious. The channel numbers didnt match the guide so I was constantly turning onto snowy channels. The remote was struggling to work as well. Last thing- the mattress was not that comfortable either.
None of these things were HUGE deals, but there was just so many of them and I was already annoyed that the price had gone up so much.
