Welcome to The White Cottage at Gildridge, a charming one-bedroom, pet-friendly retreat nestled within a private 6.35-acre gated estate in the heart of the Sussex countryside. Perfect for couples, small families, or solo travellers, this unique open-plan cottage offers peace, privacy, and easy access to local attractions.

Inside the Cottage
The White Cottage features a cosy open-plan layout with:
A sitting/dining area with Smart TV
Fully equipped kitchen with a Philips Barista coffee machine (pods provided)
Ground-floor bathroom
Spiral staircase leading to the first-floor bedroom with one double bed and two single beds

Outside
The cottage has its own private garden with a decked dining area and hot tub Private Hot Tub – now included within price! Please note: we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to prepare the hot tub. If your booking is within this window, do reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate. The wider estate includes expansive shared grounds, perfect for walks, picnics, and outdoor games.

The estate is well-placed for countryside walks, charming pubs with excellent food, and exploring the South Downs or Sussex coastline.

Each comes with its own private hot tub, washing facilities, and Smart TV. Perfect for larger gatherings—please enquire for rates and availability.
Pet Policy:
This cottage allows (2) pets per stay.

Tennis Courts:
Tennis courts are available year-round.
No pets are allowed in the fenced court areas.
Court gates should be kept closed at all times for safety.
The courts are for tennis only. No bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters or other activities are permitted on the court at any time.
Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

HOT TUB RULES:
NO Pregnant women, children and those with heart disease
ASK your doctor before getting in if you take medicines or have medical condition
Don’t get in tub if you have open sores or wounds, or cuts, or diarrhea
SHOWER off particles, oils, cosmetics, hair gels, etc…before getting in
No drugs or alcohol use before or during
No pets, pee, or procreation allowed in the tub
Keep your head, arms and upper chest out of the water to avoid overheating
Stay hydrated before getting into the hot tub
Get out if you feel dizzy, overheated, nauseous, or unwell
Close the lid when you are finished
Do Not sit, lay or stand on the hot tub cover. Cost of replacement is £750 and will be charged to the lead guest..
Be careful when getting out so you don’t slip and fall

*Park at your own risk as management assumes no responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss that may occur while the vehicle is parked.

*Caution should be exercised when walking the grounds as there are several ponds on the property.
