Beautiful 3 BR Home on Malone Lake - Great Views - Private Dock - Walk to Marina

Enjoy a lakefront getaway on beautiful Lake Malone!

We built our vacation home in 2013 and sold it four years ago since we didn’t have time to enjoy it. However, we missed it so much that we bought it back from the kind second owners and are happy to continue welcoming visitors for a relaxing vacation at our beloved Camp Harmony.

Our home is in the most convenient, walkable location at Lake Malone, only a half mile walk to the Shady Cliff restaurant and marina. Camp Harmony has three bedrooms and two baths. It sleeps six to seven people comfortably. There are two bedrooms, one bath, living room and kitchen with stainless steel appliances on the main level, along with a screened in porch and deck. The lower level has a bedroom with a sliding barn door, bathroom, living area with a couch, and another screened in porch and washer dryer. It a few short steps to your private deck to enjoy the splendors of Lake Malone. We have two kayaks and a gas grill for your use. There are also several chairs for use on the screened in porches or deck.

We invite mature & responsible adults and families to plan a getaway at our well-cared for family vacation home. We try to be respectful of our neighbors, and if you’re looking for a house to throw a party, this is definitely not the best place for you.

There is parking for three regular sized cars in front of our house. Additional free parking is a short walk away at the large Shady Cliff Marina lot located between the restaurant and Event Center. Please show them your support and have a meal or rent a pontoon boat.

We are here to help you have a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation, reminiscent of those good ol’ summer camp or family vacation days.

Perfect!!
We have stayed at this lake home several times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The steps to the dock are minimal, which you don't find at Lake Malone. Being within walking distance to the marina is a bonus. Having the bedroom and space downstairs worked out great when our son joined us for a few days. Couldn't ask for a better location and layout. Communication with host was great!

The screened in decks are a magical place to spend time reading, sipping on coffee in the morning and just soaking in the peacefulness of the lake. The house is setup perfect for a family stay. We will be back.

We loved the house, it had everything we needed and was beautiful and clean. Easy to check in and to leave, would definitely stay again. Four teens downstairs left plenty of room for three adults upstairs. Beautiful lake.

We truly enjoyed our stay on Lake Malone. The home is cozy and has thoughtful decorations throughout. Great views of the lake and immediate water access! Also enjoyed the fenced in yard for our dog! The home has many nice touches of items you need for your stay!

Perfect get away!
I went with my husband, two boys, ages 14yo and 7yo, and my parents. There was plenty of space for all of us. We had an absolutely amazing time. The house is beautiful with amazing views. We would relax at night on the upper screened in porch and watch the boats go by. The owner responded to my text within minutes. My boys loved fishing from the dock...... Fishing was pretty good. We would return in a heartbeat.

This property is perfect for a peaceful getaway. House is well stocked and exactly as it appears in listing. Lake is beautiful and people in the area are friendly. It is about a 10 mile drive to town for groceries or shopping. Small price to pay for peace and solitude. I had to change reservation dates after change in our vacation availability. John was helpful and accommodating in makIng those changes. I emailed Catherine several times with questions, and she was always quick to respond and very helpful.

Relaxing Change of Scenery
We live in Northern Kentucky and needed a change of scenery during the pandemic. This cabin was just what we needed. The cabin was clean and as pictured. My teen daughter loved the downstairs bedroom with the barn door. It's the little things. lol. Our dogs loved sunning with us on the dock. We enjoyed dinner on the screened in porch overlooking the lake each evening. The kayaks were great fun. The views from the water just a little way down the lake are amazing and something you would expect to see out West. My husband and I, along with our two dogs, enjoyed daily walks in the neighborhood and the surrounding streets. We enjoyed a few hikes at Lake Malone State Park. It was a great trip. The owners at the Marina were very friendly and we ordered a meal to go from there one evening. It was delicious. Other than that, I brought all my own food. The nearest grocery story is quite a distance away.

The decor of the house was beautiful, well kept, Unfortunately there was a semi-disabled person, and a 85 year old, and they had a real hard time with the slopped sidewalk getting into the house and they decided to leave early. It was also rainy weather to add to things. Had the sun come out I'm sure they would have stayed. Needs a second TV downstairs and there would be two separate living areas. Beautiful lake, convenient to marina.
