This historic, centrally located gem is in the heart of the quaint and desirable South Frankfort. We are a few blocks in either direction from the State Capitol and downtown Frankfort.
Frankfort, Kentucky, the capital of our fine state, is located in-between the major metropolitan cities of Louisville and Lexington. South Frankfort specifically is a desirable area among travelers because our quaint, fun downtown is full of amazing restaurants, bars, shops and sites. This short term rental apartment is located on a street directly in between, and in walking distance of the new state capital and the downtown area chocked full of historical buildings/sites, museums and attractions. This particular building is approx. 1.7 miles/7 minute drive away from the Buffalo Trace distillery. Our quiet tree lined streets are safe to walk to and from downtown, and leisure strolls around the new state capital are a must, seeing as this spot is only 2 blocks away.
This building has 10 short term rentals that are accessed through an outside door (with keyless code entry that is only shared with guests). Each short term rental has their own inside entry door as well (with separate keyless entry codes), that include their own fully stocked bathroom and kitchen. In addition, there is a sitting area between floors, which allows guests to meet and interact with each other outside of their sleeping areas if they choose. There is also a well lit, safe basement area that has coin/quarter laundry machines for guest use.

It houses ten well-appointed monthly rental units that are perfect for legislators, government contractors, digital nomads, those on temporary assignment and true lovers of the bourbon trail. This one-bedroom apartment has a separate living room. The bedroom features a king-sized bed with fluffy linens. The art-deco style bathroom is stocked with hotel-quality towels. The freshly remodeled kitchen has all of the essentials you need to feel at home.

For those who prefer to drive, you can easily access downtown Frankfort or the Capitol by car. We are 1.7 miles/~7 minute drive away from the Buffalo Trace distillery. We are centrally located, allowing quick access to two major interstates: I-64 and I-75. Or you can drive through the rolling hills of horse country on roads like Old Frankfort Pike. We also have a city bus system and many bourbon trail companies that offer tours.

For individuals that enjoy the outdoors and like to walk, our building is in an excellent location for walking to many of the sites nearby. For those that would rather drive, the drive to anywhere in the downtown area is quick and easy. Our South Frankfort area is centrally located, allowing quick access to major interstate highways such as 64 and 75, that will take you to surrounding major cities. Another excellent thing about Frankfort, is that there are many well marked and traveled back roads that run through here, that will take you through beautiful, scenic horse country, into surrounding cities. Old Frankfort Pike is a must see for that adventure! We also have a city bus system that can get you around town, as well as many bourbon trail companies that you can research and book for distillery tours.
