View is fabulous. Hospitality is contrary.
For 700€ per night, service was mediocre other than politeness. Facilities are nice but the managing team doesn’t seem competent or care beyond the surface level. Communication is poor — You have to reiterate many times. During our stay at 8pm, housekeeping broke into our room without knocking. We were startled since we just came out of the shower positively undressed in the bedroom. I went outside and found the staff looking individual when she ran away with haste while saying sorry. We called reception and ask if the room is safe, the male receptionist politely but dismissively assured us and promised to check on the door. Later we called again and went to the desk where staff members confirmed the intrusion to be caused by a housekeeper and merely replied with“sorry for the inconvenience”. We stressed many times that we were startled and this has affected the stay & that such mistake isn’t tolerable. They asked to trust them moving forward to handle with discretion. No actual apologies were given from the housekeeper responsible, it was only relayed to us by the staff.
There was no effort or thought by the hotel to offer remediation or even just gesture of it would’ve been better. The entire experience is insincere and poorly handled. Communication is tedious since the desk is not exactly well versed in English beyond rulebook. It does seem to us quite condescending when they soft demanded us to make peace. Disappointing.
