Great service. The front desk was super helpful and the rooms and lobby were very clean and modern. The pool area and "fire pit" were pretty small & uninspiring, but at least the pool was warm. The location was great and there's a starbucks next door. Breakfast was what you'd expect and they had a cute shop there with a little bit of everything you might need.

Dog friendly hotel.
The hotel is very well maintained. The staff are wonderful. Esham at the lobby desk was always very cheerful and welcoming. Will definitely stay again. Very dog friendly, and they have a lovely full breakfast. I would not use the pool, just because very child friendly. Great for families.

This property is horribly managed and insanely understaffed! When we arrived our sheets were stained and dirty with dust, sand and hair. The floor was not swept and it was clear that the chairs in the room hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We arrived late and since it was clear that there was only one employee in the building, we opted to just ask for a change of sheets and power through. The next day before we left we asked the manager if we could get our whole room cleaned due to the inconvenience of arriving to a dirty room the night before. He seemed appalled and assured us that though they were understaffed, the room would be cleaned by 6 or 7 pm. We returned at 9:30 (8.5 hours after speaking with the manager) to an untouched room. We tried to speak with the front desk woman to get this resolved, and though she was nice it was clear that there was no protocol in place for situations like this. No manager on site and it was unclear if the manager would even be there the next morning. They couldn’t move us to a room of the same size, and we couldn’t even be guaranteed partial money back. All other hotels in the area were booked out so we once again just opted to change OUR OWN sheets and rest until we might possibly speak to a manager the next morning. At the end of the day they could only offer us a $50 refund, which is better than nothing. But yeah if it looks too good to be true it probably is, essentially if you want a clean relaxing hotel to stay at, don’t stay here.

Very friendly staff, especially from the man at the front desk. Our room was super clean and relaxing. A little disappointed there was no ocean view, but everything else about the stay was great. Definitely would stay again.

Room was OK but had ants. Swimming pool was packed with people and the water was gross. The waffle maker for breakfast was broken and you have to ask staff to bring you hot breakfast items. Paid more than usual because it was peak season. Wasn't as nice as other times I stayed there.

We have stayed here several times. The rooms, pool, and property were not very clean. The pool had way too many people in it. Our room had ants in it. This is the first time we had problems with cleanliness here. Also, there were small things that were disappointing, like the waffle makers being broken for breakfast. Maybe these problems were because it's peak tourist season. However, we paid more this time than any other time we stayed there. So, we expect it to be at least as nice.

Overall clean & pleasant stay
Our room was very clean, decorated nicely, had a nice newer looking floor, and was comfortable. We had a king size bed and the room had two comfy chairs with ottomans as well for watching TV or relaxing. The bed was a little on the soft side for our liking, but the linens were nice & we still slept fine. Because our room was located on the first floor right off the lobby, I did hear lobby chatter in the early morning before I really needed to be awake. I had brought ear plugs but forgot to sleep with them on, so that's my advice! The breakfast was okay. I felt like most things included were kind of bland. It was nice that there was a hot food option that a server got for you so the food didn't have to sit out with everyone around it. My reason for the lower star on the eco friendliness was because I feel it is so wasteful for every individual paper cup and plastic cup to be wrapped in plastic. I do understand the reason, but it just seems wasteful and like there might be a better way. The location is good, we had to cross the highway to walk on the beach, but found a pleasant quiet Street and were glad that we were able to do that. The Chinook winds casino is very close, actually walking distance. Same with the McMenamins lighthouse pub, we even walked back to the hotel after our dinner there. Staff were very friendly and nice. I appreciated that there was a small "business center" with a couple of computers and a printer.

Our stay was OK Service was a bit awful as we had gone to the desk to ask for some towels but were waiting a bit while the person there was sitting on her phone and let us know she would be with us as soon as she was done using her cell phone. We needed additional towels but they did NOT have any. On the second night our room key was not working we went down to ask for another one and once again no one was at the desk for atleast 10 minutes. When she came backshe was no too friendly about us needing a new key as ours was not working. Check out time came and once again we waited another 10 minutes for someone to attend to us. The beds were AWFUL not comfortable at all some staff was very rude. We will definitely not be staying again or recommending to anyone.

The floor in our room was literally falling apart and had chunks missing with sharp edges. We did not feel comfortable walking without shoes on. Additionally the tv speakers were blown out and the sound was both distorted and very low. I mentioned both these things to the front desk and was told they knew some of the rooms had issues. Room 104 should not have been rented to us last night. Very poor.
