Awesome water views, quiet and peaceful. I would just mention the steep stairs to loft. Otherwise, very satisfied. Would definitely book again!

The cabin was charming, with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the views and the firepit!, plenty of firewood provided by host! Bedroom is actually an open loft upstairs which was fine for us, full size washer/dryer was a plus. Enjoyed our stay😍

Awesome!
Great location just outside of town. Property owner is super easy to contact and very kind. Very clean and calming place to stay. Nice back deck and picnic table by the river with plenty of room to roam in a wall kept lot. As other reviews have mentioned, I can see the issue if you have trouble with steep stairs to the bedroom, but the design of a cabin is no reason to knock down a rating, If you need handicap accessible, look for something that says it’s handicap accessible.

Great Place
The cabin is very clean and the host was wonderful. It is right on the river so we could pull up to the cabin instead of taking the boat out all the time. The grounds are well maintained and they had plenty of firewood and we had a nice fire at night. It is a great place to relax even if it rains they have a nice porch with padded couch and chairs. This is the second year we have been there and there will be more.

Great spot on river
The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Everything worked well, including the a/c, laundry and grill. The front porch was wonderful- even during the rain. It was so peaceful, despite a little road noise (which was not a surprise). The stairs were a bit steep up to the bedroom, and the water had a sulfur smell. We used bottled water for drinking. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.

Scenic getaway
Beautiful sunsets every night over the river with the camp fire. Cabin was warm and had all necessities. Shower was small but functional. Strong cleaner smell, had to keep windows open to help air it out. Very convenient for restaurants in Lincoln. Host was very nice and helpful. Thanks for the recommendation for Baxter State Park. Easy driving anywhere in the state. We also visited Acadia twice, approximately 90 min. drive. Traffic in annd out of town on the nearby bridge, can be noisy at times. Overall very pleasant experience.

It was a very nice cozy cabin. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The only negative thing was that the stairs to the lift were a little steep but I should have anticipated that with my age (mid 50's). Owner answered any questions we had

Quick stay but amazing!
What a beautiful spot! We were on our way to Allagash, ME for our yearly hunting trip and decided to break up the drive from PA and stay in Lincoln for one night . We arrived right at check in time and hung in for the night . We made our dinner in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather. The property was great for our dogs to run around at and my husband loved fishing in the river. Everything was so clean and felt very cozy. Thanks for having us and hope to be back next year!

Beautiful location with a spotlessly clean cabin. The on-site caretaker was kind and helpful. The fishing was great with lots of bass caught! Location is close to stores and restaurants. Would strongly recommend this rustic cabin to anyone wanting a river front cabin stay.

A Couple of things as far as not safe for older adults. One is railing going to lawn. On one side it wasn't painted or sanded and had splinters on it. The other unsafe thing was no railing on both sides of inside steps going up to bedroom. Loved the location and the view Kayaks needed some serious cleaning.

Excellent cabin, very clean and cozy, we just wish we’d known about its proximity to the road.
Loved the beautiful view, the stunning place to stay. The cabin is very well cared for and immaculately clean. It’s stocked with all you’ll need besides food! Our dog had a blast swimming and playing on the banks of the river and we enjoyed some great bass fishing as well. The only negative is that we weigh we’d known that it was close to a major road.

Extremely high-end rustic - splendid location
We were very impressed starting with being met and warmly welcomed by host's dad. He lives right near by and made it clear he was available for any issues. We chatted again in the morning and he saw us off as we left. Was kind enough to confirm that we could borrow the canoe and kayaks. The 'rustic' really wasn't as there are new appliances, a well equipped kitchen, great water pressure, temperature and volume, and decent wifi. The fishing was good both from shore and from the canoe. The view is amazing and the river shore is well maintained. A great spot to stay for longer than the single night that we did.

Great Place to Stay
This was the perfect place for us. We are fisherman and there is a boat ramp across the street and another one about 5 min away. The cabin was very clean plenty of room all new appliances. Had all the dishes/pans we needed. Bathroom was large and had a washer and dryer. They had a new grill and new deck furniture. When we wanted to get back to the cabin we could tie up at the property and walk up to the cabin. This was great for when we forgot something when we went fishing. Was a very peaceful trip. We would sit on the porch enjoy a drink and was able to look at the river and just enjoy beautiful scenery.
