Le Gai Séjour

Le Gai Séjour is a charming fisherman's cottage, completely restored in 2022, located 200 metres from Sword Beach, which is very sheltered from the wind. The enclosed garden, equipped with garden furniture and barbecue, faces due south.

All shops and restaurants can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. There are three large free car parks nearby, as well as 2 electric car chargers. Access is via a narrow alleyway, guaranteeing an exceptionally peaceful stay and the safety of children.

Great gite, but location not ideal
We loved the property, it had all the basics we required. The only down side was that access is via an alleyway which was difficult to navigate (and find) with suitcases and young children. The local area around the gite was great and this would suit couples or adults without children

Die Lage ist sehr gut, man erreicht alles schnell zu Fuß. Dass es nicht mit dem Auto erreichbar ist, ist schade, aber wir hatten uns aufgrund der Beschreibung darauf eingestellt und der Vermieter erwartete uns an der Straße mit einer Sackkarre zum kurzen Halten und Ausladen der Koffer. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet. Die Spülmaschine war leider kaputt, was dem Vermieter leid tat. Insgesamt gibt es etwas Reparaturbedarf im Haus (Kleinigkeiten) und im Detail hätte besser geputzt sein können. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Nous n’avons passé que quelques jours mais nous aurions adoré y rester plus longtemps en famille. Belle petite maison isolée et au calme. Très bien située au niveau de la rue principale de Lion sur mer et en plus à proximité de la mer. Nous avons été très bien accueillis! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!!!

Great place to stay at the Atlantic
The house was very beautiful and well equipped (a baby chair would be the only possible improvement). The beach is near, but Caen as a larger city is also in reach. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful for finding activities and places to visit in the area (speaks English as well as French!). Definitly a place where we would like to stay again, if we were to return to the region near Caen!

Nous avons passé un excellent week end dans cette charmante maison à Lion sur Mer! Emplacement ideal, tout proche des commerces et de la plage. La maison se trouve dans une impasse donc au calme! Elle est tres bien équipée et bien agreable à l'intérieur. Un joli jardin compléte le tout! Les proprietaires sont accueillants. Merci encore. C'était parfait.

A lovely stay!
Our stay in the gîte was everything we could have asked for - and more, with such a hospitable host! Perfect location, quiet, close to the beach. Nice rooms, a good kitchen and a small garden which fitted our needs perfectly. We highly recommend this!

Bonjour, Nous avons passés 3 jours dans cette maison,situé à 100m de la plage au fond d'un petit sentier et non une impasse comme mentionné dans l'annonce. Difficulté pour décharger ses bagages on doit se mettre en double file dans la rue principale, cela passe pour 3 jours mais plus compliqué pour un sejour plus long!!! La location est conforme aux photos de l'annonce,le jardin est très agréable, néanmoins notre petit chat n'a pu en profiter comme prévu la voisine de droite ne voulant pas qu'il se bagarre avec le sien . Le propriétaire est très sympathique et vous acceuille à l'entrée du sentier. tous les commerces sont à proximité ce qui est bien pratique et un parking pour la voiture à 2 pas. Il manquait juste en equipement un presse agrume.
