Very badly located on top of the lift.
It was very difficult to climb up the hill and steep stairs really hard climb with suitcases. No door to the toilet very dirty bedding. I booked the room for 3 people as we have a teenager there was just one bed and some dirty soiled bedding. Was not a pleasant stay we were really thinking of moving into another place

Spacious place in central location but overpriced
Stayed for two nights in May. The place is spacious and clean but the amenities and maintenance are not up to the level expected for the priced paid. Owner and staff were friendly but forgot to send us the check in instructions until we phoned. Better options for your money in my opinion.

It’s in a great area but you do have to be able to walk up hill. I never saw any check in person for my time there which was ok if you don’t need anything. Found keys and just made myself at home.

Worst experience
The apartment was filthy. There were spider webs and little bugs all over the place, I felt so uncomfortable during my stay. The Wifi didn't work either. I paid my stay before arriving and on my second day a guy who claimed to be working there asked me to pay cash, only cash. I refused to pay as I knew it was all paid for. They have refused to issue an invoice for my stay and they are blanking my emails and calls. Do not recommend this apartment, especially if you're on a business trip as you will not receive an invoice or receipt for your stay.

The apartment was hard to find when we got there.
We go there in the evening and there were no staff to assist us. we were knocking on the door and waiting for 2 hours. It was ridiculous service. I informed the apartment staff what time we all will be landing and what time we are expected to get to the apartment. But there were no staff. Made us wait too long.

Like previous reviews this apartment requires good physical level of fitness, but coming home each day was a good training session! The room was on the top floor and had great views (both sides) and great breezes each evening. Despite the heat, air conditioning was not needed.Apartment was cosy with style and character but no cupboards for clothes etc. We stayed 6 nights and lived out of our suitcases. Good location - very central to everything but a little away from the tourist bustle. Sylvia helped us as much as possible with any requests, very friendly and really wanted to help. She was great for local knowledge. Be aware that taxis can't get to the entrance of the hotel. Ask to be dropped off at the top of the stairs -not the bottom as it's a little easier for carrying bags.

Great apartment in Lisbon!!!
What a fun and central location! The apartment was spacious enough for me and my two teens on a street closed off to cars. It was great having a kitchenette, full dining room and living room to hang out. There are a lot of beautiful murals along the steep staircase that gave the area so much charm. It was very close to a popular main street, central plaza, food and shopping...easy to walk to everything! Because it isn't a regular hotel, be sure you let the manager know ahead of time what time you'll arrive to be sure someone is on the property to let you in or arrange for key pick up. We didn't and ended up not knowing where to get our keys and unable to call because we didn't have a local phone. Fortunately another guest showed up and told us where to find our keys. The manager came over our first night and personally dropped off more towels and sheets as well as gave great tips about Lisbon. We would definitely stay again!

Nice Apartment - Pleasant Welcome
The Apartment is large and comfortable with good WIFI connection and reasonable facilities. It is on the third floor halfway up a very steep incline. There is no access by car to the apartment so you need to be fit to walk the hill and then the stairs. The apartment is starting to look a little tired, but is still clean and well presented. it lacks an iron and proper air conditioning. There is a funicular running directly outside to get people up the hill which can be noisy during the day but this shuts at 20:00hrs and does not reopen until 08:00 (later at the weekend). Location is good with access to all the main sites and transport links, lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Pleasant staff very helpful on arrival, all in all a nice place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
There was no one there answering the door or the phone when we arrived. So, after a long flight, we ended up lugging our bags through town, trying to find a place to stay. A neighbor of this property tried to help us, and he let us know that this is actually a private residence and not a hotel. To top everything off, this booking could not be canceled

Up the hill, up the thousand stairs
Once we walked up a steep slope that was like a San Francisco Telegraph Hill incline and went up the four flights of narrow winding stairs with our suitcases the room was clean and pleasant, but that's about all the good I can say about the place --- a clean nice room. We were never greeted by the office manager or any staff, aside from a cleaning lady that handed us a set of keys --- that only included our room, not the main entrance, which we found out the hard way at 11PM one night when the door was locked shut (apparently it's suppose to stay open.) After five minutes of banging on it, the cleaning lady came downstairs, scowling and annoyed at us. Oh, did I mention the barking dog at all hours of the day and night, the lack of hot water during showers and that a few of our windows leaked during rainfall, leaving puddles all over the apartment?

Great stay
The appartment was very nice, very spacious clean and modern, and we had everything we needed (apart from a washing machine, that was advertised but inexistent). It was a great place to stay for a week, and we would probably stay again. I would recommend the appartment as we really enjoyed our stay, however I could not recommend it to people with mobiliy problems (incl old people and disabled people), or families with prams, or even travellers with big suitcases, due to the very steep alleyway to reach the building, and the steepness of the stairs of the property.

Pros: great view, basic supplies (e.g. dishwashing fluid), fast wifi Cons: up one of the steepest streets in Lisbon which taxis (except the obscure ones known only to the owner) refuse to climb, so you'll be stuck carrying your luggage up it and believe me its a steep inconvenient hill (conveniently not indicated anywhere on the ad, when we signed up), owner likes to add insult to injury by charging excessive price for hotel shuttle as well, decent place but completely not worth it when you consider 4-star hotels, with breakfast, 24-hr staff, daily cleaning, etc were basically charging us the same price, once we were there

Ideal location
Francisco was a great host, hard working ,speaks well and is service oriented. Communication with him was a breeze as he responded promptly and accommodated to the needs of our stay. He greeted us at the airport (with the airport transfer that we requested, which was inexpensive) and was kind enough to drive us around to get our bearings prior to check-in. He also helped us with our bags which we could not be more grateful for. The property sits on a steep incline (and then some) and our room was on the top floor. The view out of our room paid off all that agony! Apartment was comfortable and clean. Would not recommend this apartment for persons with reduced mobility. As most of Lisbon conserves what is left of their architectural remnants, this apartment does not have an elevator, although its interior was modern and had industrial finishes. Location of the property is central and accessible to all areas. At check-out for airport transfer, there were some guests Francisco was receiving at the airport whose flight was delayed and couldn't pick us up in time. He arranged for a taxi driver whom he trusts to substitute this and it went smoothly.

Studio assez grand bien aménagé propre la place e
Séjour de 3 jours à Lisbonne en famille avec mon fils la ville est très intéressante et riche en histoire, le Tage à traverser, vraiment la place de l'appartement est idéale !! on est à deux pas du centre-ville et de la station de métro l ! e funiculaire est à la porte de l'appartement !! on ne peut pas dire autrement puisque il s'arrête devant... les environs sont plutôt un peu délaissés, des chiens errants, super gentils mais affamés, ont été à la fenêtre, en bas de notre fenêtre ! pendant les 3 jours ! et nous avons eu la surprise d'avoir eu quand même un cafard dans le salon le deuxième jour, c'était le seul ! on l'a tué tout de suite mais ça fait quand même drôle quand vous rentrez à 22h de voir une blatte courir par terre.. sinon la l'appart en lui-même est très bien très bien placé assez grand bien aménagé, propre il y a rien à dire

Un agréable séjour lisboate
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. L’hôtel est bien situé malgré la côte à monter et au calme. Nous avons trouvé les clés sur la porte en arrivant. Malheureusement nous n'avons croisé personne du séjour. Le studio était spacieux, lumineux et fonctionnel. A disposition: serviettes, wifi, café, sucre et quelques autres produits de première nécessité. Le seul bémol: l'appartement mériterait un bon rafraîchissement.
