Overall we really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel has a unique vibe. Our room was quite nice, spacious and the terrace was fun to enjoy in the afternoon. Although it didn’t bother us; we weren’t expecting the terrace adjacent to our room to be shared with the other terrace rooms on level 5 (essentially one long terrace adjacent to 5 or 6 rooms). The combined washer/dryer was fantastic and allowed us to clean our clothes halfway through the trip. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The pool area was also quite unique and we enjoyed some time there! I will say that the pool area needs some additional seating to accommodate the busier pool times. On a couple occasions it seemed there was enough pool seating to accommodate half the pool guests, with the other half of guests laying towels in the manicured grass. The cafe in the lobby is quite a nice touch and allowed for quick runs for tasty coffee and croissants, etc. The area of the hotel is in the more modern bustling part of the city and a little out of walking distance to some of the older more romantic parts of the city such as the Barrio Alto, Chiado, and Baixa neighborhoods. Overall we had a great time here!

My wife and I absolutely loved our two week stay with Locke de Santa Joana. Our room exceeded our expectations with not one but two beautiful views of the city. We could see the Castelo de São Jorge from the terrace! The interior design was gorgeous and featured modern amenities like air conditioning, wifi, a washer/dryer, stove, fridge and dishwasher. It felt like we had an apartment in Lisbon, and not just staying at a hotel. If you're considering a longer stay in Lisbon, you must consider Locke de Santa Joana. It was terrific. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. We felt welcome from our first interaction. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. The baristas at Castro's (their cafe) were very friendly and became a highlight of each day. Every meal we had at the Santa Marta restaurant was amazing, from breakfast to lunch and dinner. We can't recommend dining there enough, it was very impressive. We loved our experience so much, we will definitely be looking for Locke hotels in our future travels.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful - I received a ton of advice and recommendations from the bartenders by the pool. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The complex is a little confusing to navigate at first, especially since the elevators number the floors in a bizarre way, but you get the hang of it quickly. The restaurant is pretty nice. I ended up eating there for many of my meals. I don’t recommend going during peak times for dinner as my food and drink took forever to come out, but it was very busy. Overall, I loved my time here and I’d come back again. If you like shopping, this is an excellent location!
