From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Attentive, knowledgeable Reception staff - nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a One Bedroom Suite within the Convent area of the hotel. Beautifully appointed room - spacious, stylish & practical. Stunning hotel grounds & pool area. Amazing how the new and old parts of the hotel have been designed to complement one another. Both restaurants in the hotel were fantastic- we ate in both & had breakfast - would highly recommend both! The hotel was also very conveniently located and central- it was easy to visit all the main areas and attractions in the beautiful city of Lisbon. We had an amazing long weekend in Lisbon. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Locke Santa Joanna again. Thank you

This hotel is one of the very best we have ever stayed at anywhere! The rooms and beautiful and very clean! The staff makes staying here amazing! They were very helpful getting us checked in and getting everything we needed while we were there, including how to use the washing machine in the room. They treated us so well that I didn't want to leave when our stay was over. We will always go back to this hotel whenever we are in Lisbon becasue the staff is so amazing and wonderful!

Room very nice and clean, kitchen equipped. Staff in the front desk was very helpful and friendly; they could be reached out anytime through text and they would answer any questions very quickly, they even made us dinner reservations. The only reason why I am giving 4 starts is because we never received room service. We stayed 12 nights, they were supposed to do room service every seven days but they never did, even though we asked for it and made sure to take out the “do not disturb sign.” I would still recommend the hotel!

The hotel is new, beautiful, and well-kept. The front desk staff lacked in friendliness and professionalism. I observed that the front desk staff were White, and all the cleaning staff were Black or Brown. The front desk staff were quick to pass on help with luggage to Black staff. The restaurant included Black, Brown and White staff and were more welcoming.

Amazing stay!

I loved this hotel! Perfect location with a short walk into the city centre. Lovely cosy, comfy vibes all around the hotel. Loved my studio flat and decor around the place. Won’t be the last time I stay in Locke hotels! Yoga mat in the room was a welcomed bonus - staff all super helpful and friendly. Food delicious!

Perfect and very well located

Amazing conversion of an old convent into a modern hotel. It’s got everything you need for a short or a long term stay. The kitchen is very well equipped. The gym is the best I’ve seen in a hotel, even comparing with 5 star hotels. The location is right on the Marquês de Pombal, so super central and only 2 minute walk from the underground

We stayed 4 nights. We took the metro from the airport into town. The hotel was very close to a metro stop and also the Hop on Hop off bus stop so it was very easy to get around the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is an extra charge if you want your room serviced for shorter stays which we didn't need. You can walk down to the water from the hotel in about 15 - 20 minutes passing nice shops and restaurants along the way.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Locke de Santa Joana! It had all the luxury touches of a hotel, with restaurants, a cafe with some awesome croissants, cool bars and pool, but also the conveniences of a washing machine and kitchenette. It is located close to a metro station too, and it is super easy to take the metro in Lisbon. The staff are also really lovely and helpful, and my little hotel room/apartment was so gorgeous! I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Lisbon!

Great for longer stays, minimal service

Really great property for longer stays as the rooms are equipped with laundry, a kitchenette, fridge, and dishwasher. Beds are super comfortable and the property hosts a number of restaurants, bars, and coworking spaces. Staff was helpful when needed but check in seemed a little chaotic and had to discover property features/amenities on my own. Usually this is covered during check in from the staff. Staff in general, although nice, seemed to be very hands off so if you’re looking for that (baggage service, daily housekeeping, etc) this may not be the place for you. Housekeeping is only available once a week.
