Everything was top tier (including the location!). But, the staff’s friendliness and warmth stood out as the personal touch that made our experience there magical. I liked the area and close to local businesses. I didn’t like the day after on Saturday morning lot of bottles and plastic glasses in side streets from young people drinking. Otherwise it was great place for vacationing with view of Lisbon.

Beautiful old hotel, modernised very tastefully. Excellent restaurant and bar, wonderful friendly and helpful staff. And it has the best location in Lisbon. The lively streets of Bairro Alto at its rear and the lovely views over the city at the front. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Cleanliness is clearly a priority. And we received a sweet gift each evening. Fabulous place.
