Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here! Everything was clean, even better than the photos. Manuel & Anna were so helpful - they gave us a map and highlighted many things to do, how to get there, and gave us lots of recommendations for our first time in Lisbon. The area is great for transportation links - 2 minute walk to the nearest Metro station, and many buses right outside. 10/10 would book again!

Communications were great prior to our arrival. We were greeted by Anna at just after 8:00 AM, as we had an early flight and had arranged to store our luggage before checking in later. Not only was she friendly and helpful, but she offered us breakfast, which was excellent and provided suggestions of things to do until our check in time later that day. When we returned at about 3:00 pm, our luggage had already been placed in our room. We had a room with a private bath. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was in good working order. The bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated and was very clean. Next morning, breakfast was great again and Anna was so cheerful and helpful we didn’t want leave! I highly recommend this B&B and will stay there again if I return to Lisbon in future.

Great place to stay. Host was super communicative before we got there with all the info to get inside. Room was simple but all we needed. Had A/C and a cute balcony. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 2 people. The shared bathrooms were not an issue at all. Breakfast in the morning was great!

First of all Manuel and Anna were absolutely wonderful in their effort to make for a pleasing stay. I stayed 7 nights and the pluses were it was clean quiet , and very convienant to all modes of transportation to get to where ever you wanted in the city as the train station is just a five minute walk and the bus stops are right out front. The breakfast provided was also extremely nice with a nice variety of choIces. My room was one with a shared bathroom only and I can say I never had to wait to use one of three shared bathrooms. Bottom line I was very satisfied with my stay and I would return if in Lisbon again in the future.

Loved our stay at Republica B&B. I am a single mom traveling with two young kids. The B&B was a great location close to trains, buses. Room and attached bathroom was spacious and clean, beds super comfortable. The staff, especially Divya and Manuel were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks so much for making our trip a dream come true!!

Stay here! We absolutely loved our stay with our 2 daughters. Clean, welcoming, Anna was very kind and took the time to explain attractions in the city by giving us a map and circling the most important landmarks/attractions. Breakfast was delicious. Cleaning staff was kind and helpful as well when Anna wasn’t there. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!

This had to be one of the worst places I stayed at during my four week trip in Europe. The way the furniture was arranged in the room was terribly inconvenient. I had a single room with a large queen bed with huge wooden posts that made moving around the room very inconvenient. The bathroom was so small that you had to step inside, then turn around and shut the door to use the toilet as the door blocked your way to the toilet when you opened the door. I don't know why they could not have put a sliding door instead. This place is in need of an interior designer and architect and have them design better, more livable rooms. The room also had outlets in very inconvenient place. I asked for an electric kettle and the only outlet was above my pillow and the cord barely could reach the tiny bedside table. Everything about the room was inconvenient. It was a horrible experience.

a very nice place to stay. Near a lot of things. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast excellent with many choices. Parking might be difficult on the street but there is a garage parking very close.

Manuel and Anna are terrific with their jobs. We had a very quiet, comfortable and pleasant stay. They were very helpful regarding our questions and very informative about spots to visit and with regards to transport. Very highly recommended and definitely would love to come back!

A charming and friendly place to stay
Manuel. Ana, and all the staff made us feel very welcome, and offered lots of information about Lisbon. The location is great, right next to Campo Pequeno Metro station, it only take a few minutes to travel into the centre by either metro or bus. The room was large, clean, and nicely designed, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the street below. Breakfast was generous and very tasty. I would highly recommend staying at B&B Republica.
