The living area seamed mostly clean. The bathroom was not. There was dried poop on the wall by the toilet paper. There was hair in the filter of the tub and black mold in the jets. Needless to say we only took a shower because of how dirty the tub was. Our towels and washclothes were stained with yellow and black stains. Fridge had to be turned as cold as it would go because our drinks were warm to the touch. The room itself looks to have been remoded sometime in the past year, the tap from the sheetrock on the ceiling was peeling. AC worked. Tv worked. Beds were a little stiff for our liking, but seamed clean and no bugs. I personally will not be staying there again.

There was no staff to check myself or another customer in. When we called, the person working said they were helping a customer at their room. That is understandable. She did get there relatively quick afterwards. I felt bad for her as she was brand new with zero training. She was not able to look up our reservation as she had not been trained to do that. She had to take our info on paper to give to the manager the next day. She was very kind. I felt bad for her. The room was clean. But the room was sketchy. The door had to be forced shut to get the lock to engage. Even then it looks like the door had been busted into at a previous time as the door frame was busted. We didn't feel secure at all. There was also some renovation that looks like was attempted. They put in flooring but didn't complete it to the wall. So there were gaps where the flooring met the wall. There were places that it appeared things had been on the wall but were now not there and the wall never got redone. The bathroom door, when shut, not locked, got me stuck inside. I had to have my husband open it from the otherside. And even then he had to push on it hard to get it unstuck. Overall, it was not a great or even somewhat passable experience. We will never stay here again.

This place was decent enough to be mostly comfortable but not decent enough to be nice. The rooms could stand to be upgraded and the staff seemed like they were more accustomed to being defensive than friendly. The rooms were accessible by exterior stairs and the breakfast wasn't great. I wouldn't choose to stay again.

Check in took forever and no appreciation of guest was demonstrated. Pool (part of our decision to book here) was totally out of commission - full of filthy water and closed. Fitness room (another major part of our decision to book here) had broken 80s machines and no space to do alternative workouts not utilizing the out of order machines. Breakfast is a joke and there was mold in my scrambled eggs. Upon informing the front desk of this, they shrugged it off and took no action. Battery in our in room smoke alarm failed and alarm started beeping just as we put our children to sleep. Room had not been thoroughly vacuumed and no one turned on A/C before we arrived so it was 90 degrees.

The pool was green and had been closed for quite a while. We were supposed to get a room with a Jacuzzi and when we went to find our room, it was surrounded by workers who were drinking outside our door. When we requested a new room, we were told there was only one room on the entire property that had a Jacuzzi. So we elected to just get a new room. That room smelled like mold and mildew, but we were too tired to care. Avoid this place weā€™ve always loved Best Western, but this has to be the worst western.

I couldn't get bottled water probably because there was only one snack room on the whole property, and that was in the laundry room. The dirty pool was a big turn off. Also I didn't feel the door to my room was secure enough.
