About this property

The Carriage House in SoMa

We accept pets, however we do have a 2 dog maximum and a $20 per night fee - also, please be mindful that we have a strict NO-Smoking policy that applies to the entire property. An additional $500 fee will be applied if evidence of smoking is found. Now for the space - we’re located in the SoMa district of downtown Little Rock. This original carriage house sits behind it's main house, both built in 1904. You gain access from the alley through a walk gate with a combination lock. On the day of your arrival Doug will send you the code to the gate and the Carriage House door. The entire property has been renovated and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in a residential neighborhood and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, museum, and shopping. For those with dogs(no cats), there is a dog and people park a few blocks away. Please message me if your traveling with pets. We have a two dog maximum with a $20 per night fee.

I love this part of Little Rock - it’s a short walk to some of the best coffee shops, restaurants, and the Arkansas Art Center. The house is cute, very clean, and has all the amenities of home. It was a great place to land while in town for work and to catch up with friends.

My fiancé and I were in town while I took the Bar exam. This spot was perfect for just the two of us. It was easy to find and is an excellent location to enjoy Little Rock from. Our only complaint, which is minor, was that the Wi-Fi was inconsistent. We didn’t need the Wi-Fi so it didn’t bother us, but if we were reliant on wifi for anything we would have been in trouble. Doug was a complete professional and has excellent communication skills. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Little Rock again.

Little Rock oasis!
This was my second stay at carriage house and I hope to return again soon. It’s truly in the best location with a lovely neighborhood a large variety of restaurants close by. The home is very secure and well appointed. I can’t say enough good about the host, he responds quickly to any questions very kind and understanding. It was a perfect stay.

The property was perfect! The carriage house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Great neighborhood, very close to Main Street. The court yard was great. Very private and perfect for our pup we were traveling with. Off street parking was a plus. We did our 30th wedding anniversary trip to LR on a whim. Exploring was awesome and we learned that AR really is the Natural State. All kinds of birds and easy jaunts right near the house. Plus armadillos! Farther afield, beautiful green landscapes and helpful people. Doug is the best; both attentive and responsive but never in the way. Nice, tidy, and clean place, which is always appreciated. Great trip for us.
