The wilderness Lodge is located in a gated community on a beautiful, 4 acre parcel of land with over 500 feet of river frontage and 250 acres of trails for you to enjoy with a brand new floating dock great for kayaking, boating, canoeing and fishing. This cabin was Totally remodeled in 2023, while keeping the old Florida rustic cabin feel in mine, but with the modern day amenities and comforts. Kick back and relax and enjoy your stay.

Loved it!
We are a family of 6 with 4 kids ages 5-7 and we had a fantastic stay at this property. The property was immaculate down to every detail and well resourced with anything we needed for our stay. The property owner was easy to reach and work with and the property was exactly what we were looking for. Itā€™s a private and relaxing environment and spending time on the Suwanee river was serene and beautiful. We spent our days exploring the trails, kayaking the river, and sitting around a campfire. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature with all the comforts and amenities of home.

We Love This Place
Back for another visit, we had such a great time before. This cabin on the river delivers everything it sells. I sleep so well in the King bed. The kayaking is always a great day spent on the river. We hope to come back again.

Favorite Florida Vacation
The property is amazing! Very well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. Loved the cabin and itā€™s decor. Very cozy and had the comforts of home. Our family that lives in Mayo, FL (near the cabin) has atvs so we were able to take advantage of the trails across the street from the cabin. The river was flowing super fast due to the weather so we werenā€™t able to fish or kayak but we still had a blast! We would definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to come back!!

Suwannee Oasis
My wife, our 4 children (ages 5-17) and I stayed at what we call the ā€œSuwannee Oasisā€ for 5 days. It was incredible!!!!!! The host was prompt in her responses when I had questions and gave us great info about the surrounding area. The cabin itself was spotless upon arrival and the directions made it very easy to find. It was very quaint and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking in the river, playing horseshoes, going on a hike and just relaxing by the fire. There were deer in the yard most mornings and even more throughout the 250 acre property that we saw on our hikes. We truly loved every minute of our stay. From the host being so friendly and helpful to the cabin suiting every one of our needs to the beautiful surrounding area and wildlife, there is no better place to vacation in Florida ā€¦ā€¦ hands down!!! 5 stars from the Beck family !

Wonderful River Retreat
The property was everything we expected and more. We had a wonderful week with family and the property provided plenty of entertainment. From kayaking on the river to taking our sons golf cart through the plentiful trails. The host was very helpful and answered all communications immediately. We highly recommend this property and host to everyone. Thank you for great vacation.

Beautiful cabin in the woods
The property has all you would want for a secluded vacation. Boat dock is new and easy to use. The trails on the property are well maintained with plenty to explore. We also watched a plane take off from the private grass airstrip. The cabin is beautifully decorated with all amenities you would want. We will be coming back and bringing our ATVs. We played horse shoes, cornhole, air hockey and had a fire every night. Having firewood supplied for us was also a perk we didnā€™t expect but definitely enjoyed.
