The floor in bedroom was sticky & the kitchen worktops were damaged , cooker was dirty & floor was filthy. The whole building needs updating/modernising. I expect a budget room on a uni campus but not poorly maintained to that extent

well done Albert court.
very impressed with Albert court, friendly helpful staff, clean and reasonably comfortable, everything my friends and I needed for our weekend away. Easy access to the city and at a good price. well done all concerned. p.s, we thoroughly enjoyed seeing Liverpool, for the first time in quite a few years, a pleasure to walk around such an attractive city/riverside.

Great for what I needed
For £63 it was the perfect place to stay after the football. Very basic “student” accommodation but fine for what I needed. Free parking on site, friendly staff. Shower was poor and room noisy but everything else fine

Excellent service and cleanliness, room was spacious, spotless and had everything I wanted. Communal facilities were flawless and I would have no problem stating here for an extended length of stay. Although I have no car I do know there were plentiful parking facilities. My only tiny gripe is that there are no bins in the rooms and no recycling facilities. The bathroom had a cracked tile.

Perfect place for the budget traveler.
I had a wonderful stay here. Fantastic, personable customer service. This is perfect for the solo, budget traveler. The facilities are clean, well kept and safe (ignore those other reviews about this area not being safe, nothing unsafe was ever noticed by me and I've been in some bad, bad areas). The only challenge I had was with the heater having to be reset every two hours. I understand the reasons, but it was a little off-putting to wake up a few times in the middle of the night shivering. The walls are a little thin and there will be some typical college student noise happening late at night, but it IS a dorm, after all, so either be prepared for it or pay more for quieter accommodations. Personally, I slept just fine. :-)

Booked to stay here for a stag weekend. The team at front of house were really friendly and helpful. The building could definitely do with a reconditioning, but it more than served its purpose for our 2 night stay as it’s essentially just a place to crash for a couple of hours. If I was away with the lads again, would I stay here again? Yes.

really needs attention
I hate leaving a negative feedback but feel obliged to say something about the conditions of this place. I travel a lot and have learnt to live with few shortcomings of low budget acoomodations but this place really needs some management attention. I arrived on Friday evening and put right next to a room where 4 teenagers were having a late afternoon party with loud music & heavy smell of alocohol and this is all hapoening in a tiny single bed student room. Walls as thin as a paper and their f words echoing through entire block. The young girl who showed me the room wasn’t phased at all as if this is all normal. I went out returned right after midnight relieved that they were gone, but the gang returned half 1 in the morning and the party continued! This place lacks basic control features of a public guest house, as in who goes in and out and what amount of alcohol is brought in. Most importantly it is not clean. Conditions of bed sheet, mattress and towels were not great, things that I rarely complain about. This block should not be open for public stay, and I hope students are not put through these conditions either.

Skuffende standard på rommet og dårlig renhold
Jeg var ikke veldig fornøyd med mitt rom. Møbler og gulv var i dårlig befatning. Rommet hadde heller ikke TV eller kjøleskap. Det ble heller ikke byttet håndklær eller gjort rent på rommet i løpet av de 4 dagene jeg bodde der. De 2 siste dagene luktet det ekkelt i dusjen. Det eneste positive jeg vil nevne, var at sengen var OK. og betjeningen.
