Booked in for a night whilst the other half went to a wedding and I stayed in the hotel with the little one. Quick check in and gave us late checkout at no cost and parking was free as it was the weekend. We used the pool in the morning which was clean and warm and the steam room was a nice addition. I was going to order food to the room that evening but didn’t, the cost was a little steep for me £20 for some fish pieces and sweet potato chips to your room. Room was large, and soda bed was made for the little one, bathroom clean with towels and the mattresses are comfortable. All in all a quick and pleasant stay with great staff.

A disapointing stay
Lovely staff, cleanish room( bathroom was full of someones pubic hair...) But it was freezing... The veggie options in the catering department left a lot to be desired and if you suffer from a pepper allergy like my partner you were out of luck. My partner suffers from MS and the lifts were out of order so it was a real struggle for her to get to the room. The one saving grace were the amazing helpful staff.

Village - Wirral
I travel every week on business in a variety of hotels around the uk. The Village group is convenient, friendly and comfortable. However, I was disappointed as the remote control wasn’t working and new batteries couldn’t be located. Most importantly was the hot and cold tap was plumbed the wrong way around in the sink. Really dangerous. Also, the vent in the bathroom obviously hadn’t been cleaned for months! Unacceptable when it’s an easy thing to check each week.

Smart comfortable rooms. Good facilities with a bar/restaurant, Starbucks and gym. Friendly helpful staff. Only two downsides for me. The room didnt have air con, and there was too much traffic noise to have the window open. And there are often functions here with guests making a fair amounr of noise in the corridors late at night.

We went on vacation to Liverpool, and stay in Wirral, is far away from Liverpool but we use the train and walk (25 min walk). They didn’t clean our room while we were there.

It was a great stay. People were kind and the room was clean. There was no AC. I did not know that was something I needed to check in this larger hotel. Two fans were provided and we used them, but it was uncomfortably warm.
