Our home is right on the water with amazing sunset views!

Enjoy gorgeous views of the lake from the open-concept Living Room / Dining Room/ Kitchen or while unwinding in the oversized Master Bedroom/ Bathroom.

The Kitchen is full-sized with seating for 8 at the Dining Table + 2 at the island.

Play in the spacious back yard, make sā€™mores on the fire pit or simply enjoy a sunrise and cup of coffee on the covered deck or enclosed porch.

Swing into the lake on one of the TWO rope swings or just enjoy the scenery over the water from the boathouse deck.

The place with everything
If youā€™d like to go to a lake house with everything, this is it. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen so many toys and games in one place. Weā€™re already talking about going back with our grandkids. This home has room for everyone and itā€™s maintained so nicely.

An exceptional stay!
Iā€™ll keep this brief, but thereā€™s so much to say! We celebrated several birthdays with our teens, and it was an amazing experience. The weather was perfect, but even if it hadnā€™t been, we still would have loved our stay. Stephen was an outstanding host from the moment we booked, promptly answering all my questions. As fellow vacation property owners, we know what makes for a comfortable stay, and this house exceeded our expectations in every way. It truly has everythingā€”inside and out. The added touches of welcoming snacks, bottled water and a guide for activities and restaurants was much appreciated. There are countless thoughtful activities for kids, teens, and adults alike. Whether swimming or rope-swinging off the dock, fishing, kayaking, or enjoying indoor games like pool, air hockey, basketball, foosball, and arcade games, thereā€™s something for everyone. The selection of board games is impressive! The house itself is comfortable, peaceful, and inviting. We loved the sunroom for sunrise views, the covered deck for meals, and the thoughtfully placed tree swings and rocking chair. The yard was perfect for playing badminton, bocce ball, and frisbee. And THE VIEW! Our favorite time was sunset; it was a stunning surprise that gave us countless beautiful photos by the water. The location in a quiet subdivision is ideal, making this the perfect getaway. We canā€™t recommend this place enough!

Wonderful property
Our group of 11 adults fit comfortably in this beautiful house by the lake. The owner was extremely helpful, was fast in every inquiry and was always forthcoming with all the information we needed. He allowed us to come in early and offered us to check out late as there was no other party checking in after us. I highly recommend this property. It was well stocked with everything you could possibly need!

Staying in luxury and comfort on the lake
We absolutely loved this place! Everything about the house was perfect. We came here with our twin 13yo boys and we all had a fantastic time. The first couple days the lake was too choppy to go out on but it calmed down in time for us to get some real enjoyment on the water and use those fantastic rope swings on the dock (there are two!) The grill needed to be manually lit but that's not really a problem and it cooked the steaks nice and even (making me seem like I actually knew what I was doing.) We used the firepit each night and made some s'mores from the included basket of roasting sticks and necessary materials left on the table for us. My wife and sons went for a run each morning while we were here and they tell me it's a decent running neighborhood, too, with a little up-and-down to give you a bit of a workout. The host, Stephen, sent me a text message and said to call or text if we needed anything. He was very responsive via text on the only two times we really needed anything. The first being that my code didn't work on the front door when we first arrived. But he added it in less than a minute and we were in. The second was that our boys had left something in the house and didn't realize it until we got home. He got back with me immediately and we've worked out a plan. My wife just sees it as a good excuse to go back for another stay soon! Overall it was an absolutely amazing stay and we will choose this place when we return to the lake for more fun!

Back to Lake Livingston after 35 years
This is such a great location and great house with plenty to do for families. It's been 35 years since I've been to Lake Livingston and this time I was able to bring my wife and most of my kids. I caught catfish off the boat dock (water was murkey from all the recent storms, so hard to catch white bass), kids swung off the rope swings, we took a guided fishing tour and caught some big catfish (same storm impact to white bass). The only problem is we didn't stay longer. Stephen was a great help in communicating what's available in the area

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I needed to get away and this was just perfect. Very quiet neighborhood! The property had way more than the 2 of us could do. It would be great for a family with kids. They had a video arcade game machine that had tons of games on it and a garage full of games as well. It truly is just like the pictures, except the gum ball machine was not there. The only thing that I would suggest is bringing paper goods and foil/ziplocks with you. The pantry has spices and condiments, but no paper goods. I usually bring those but forgot this time but it wasn't a problem. They have plenty of dishes. Everything was great and we would rent this property again!

Short weekend trip to the lake
We took our kids and grandkids to the lake to celebrate my husbandā€™s 50th birthday. The area is nice and being able to stay right on the lake was awesome. Stephen was great to deal with. He was very helpful, friendly and communicative. The house has pretty much everything you would need and then some. The coffee and Sā€™mores are a neat touch. The negative: Even though it is the off season, it was obvious that no one had done any upkeep to the exterior of the house in a while. There were spiderwebs literally everywhere once you open the back door. It was really bad. There were ant piles everywhereā€¦even on the steps leading in and out of the house. The gas grill is broken. Only the left side of the burners work. The game room seemed like everything was broken, missing pieces or didnā€™t work. Same for the board games and stuff. The kids pulled out so many games and couldnā€™t play any of them because none of them were complete. None of the beds are comfortable. They all squeak and make noise and you can feel the bars through the mattresses. The listing said the master bedroom had a king and a queen and it only has one queen bed. We made it work and we truly had a nice time. I understand the price is higher because of the direct lake access, but I do feel that the listing was somewhat misleading as to what we were getting into.

Beautiful house
This place was so cozy and inviting. Our family did some fishing, swimming and played some games. Perfect place for spending time together. The owners are also very nice and reachable if you have any questions. We defiantly recommend this home.

Our family had such a good time! The house is great and has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation. The best part is the great dock and boat house with the rope swings. It is so fun to hop in and swim there all day. Highly recommend this place!

Noles 2023 Family Vacation
Our family had an amazing time. The large covered dock area was perfect for trying to stay out of the heat while watching the kids swim and fish. When we were inside there were plenty of things to keep both the kids and adults entertained. The owners were super responsive when we had questions and very accommodating. This was probably one of the best rentals we have done on VRBO and will definitely be a repeat renter.

We had a wonderful stay at That Lake House. Our three adult children and their husbands as well as two grandchildren joined us for a weekend of play on the lake. We booked Friday night thru Sunday night and our children stayed until Monday morning and left for work in Houston from there. Stephen made the check in process easy and seamless. We were greeted with a beautiful view of the lake and a quaint home. The living room, kitchen and dining room are designed in such a way that allows for a group to be in the same space in a cozy fun way. The kitchen was stocked with necessities and made cooking for the group easy. Plenty of pots, pans, spices, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable. We utilized the sofa couch which could use a mattress topper to improve comfort for adults..itā€™s likely fine if children are sleeping on it. All other beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We have our boat on the lake and went to get it each day for fun on the lake with the family. We were able to borrow the lily pad float and hang on the water as a family Sunday night as the sun set. The house has plenty of games. Although we didnā€™t use them, lots to choose from should you encounter bad weather etc. The game room in the garage is not air conditioned but would be great to access in the cooler weather. A newly installed video game machine with Pac-Man was a fun addition!! Had a great time and made amazing memories with the family!!

Iā€™d rather be at That Livingston Lake House
We had the greatest time at That Livingston Lake House! The accommodations were spacious and there were so many areas to enjoy and have fun, both kids and adults alike. The dock is amazing with 2 rope swings and Bluetooth speakers for endless fun or just hang out in a tube to relax by the dock. Several options for outdoor fun available Cornhole, croquet, kickball, 3 tree swings, and campfire pit for sā€™mores. The garage games were a huge hit. Indoors we enjoyed game night with many games to pick from. Something fun around every corner here. Other amenities that are five star is having full size shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and hair dryers (and diffusers) available in bathrooms. Felt like a hotel! Lots of beach towels were available to use. Pantry and fridge had several community shelves that were stocked with items to use including spices, sugar, coffee, condiments and more. Good stock of pots, pans sheets to cook and stay in. Loved this! The decor is very relaxing and welcoming. This place is great for making family memories and the attention to detail is endless. The owner cares about you feeling at home and it shows. Book it now and you will see. Canā€™t wait to go back! Thanks for sharing your home with us.
