A super location, just a few minutes walk from the Old Town, the bus/train station and the Skyscraper. Couldn’t have been better. Gorgeous terrace to sit, read, have a drink, or take your breakfast to. Fabulous breakfast buffet with a small Slovenian section with honey and cheese. Generous rooms too.

We stayed in the signature suite for 2 nights after arriving by bus from the airport. The hotel is easy walking distance from the bus station and very close to all the main areas you want to visit in the city. Our suite was fantastic with 2 double beds, large bathroom plus additional toilet and a wrap around balcony with amazing views. Breakfast was really lovely - lots of choice. Would definitely recommend the hotel!

Very warm welcome from staff at City Hotel, who were knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. Room was spaceous, light and clean and all the amenities we required were there. Location was convenient. Some noise from pub across the road but not a big deal and never that late. Nice to have the terrace and the push to be greener/environmental was good. Also very useful that booked tours picked up from outside. Only issue was positioning of coffee machines at breakfast as there could be queues packing things up (depending on the time). Would be happy to stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as all the tours we took were out of our hotel or right across a small street. Also, it was located right next to the walk only center, so we could get there by car, but walking to the river front was just a few minutes away.

Central location with an average breakfast, excellent fruit and jam selection but no pastries and cofffee was just average Room was large and clean and bathroom / shower in good working order. Bar and terrace but lacked atmosphere and didn’t see anyone there the entire 2 days I was there. It was a good coty hotel which was well placed for the bus station and seeing the sights that the city has (you can get to everything within a 15 minute walk)

This was a nice place and located in a good area in terms of travelling throughout the city. Small things such as having a noticeable amount of small bugs in our room on the walls and on the TV. We also had one wet towel out of 2… just seemed like they rushed the process of cleaning our room to get it ready for us.

Great location, 8mins to bus station and 2 mins to old town. Nice breakfast with good selection of food for this level od hotel. The place looks quite aged however room had great sound proof. Room is small and not well cleaned, reception staff service overall was average to poor. Avoid going for breakfast around 9am, hectic with the whole restaurant packed with guests.
