Very disappointing stay. The hotel rooms are very outdated and tired. Bathroom disgusting. On positive note, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast very basic. Overall i would not recommend this hotel at all. There are better hotels for this price. Standards are about 2 stars at its best.

The place was fine, food was fine, but the front staff was kind of rude. Would t look at you until you walked up to their faces. Just ignored you were there the rest of the time. It wasn’t welcoming at all. But the waitresses & bartenders were great.

The Stradey Park is a lovely hotel, in a quiet area with lovely views of the estuary. Our room was a good size and very clean as was the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable, however the room was very warm which made it feel a little stuffy, unfortunately we couldn't keep the window open at night because it was too noisy with the wind. I found the lighting in both the room and bathroom for putting on make up was not bright enough. The only thing we felt was missing from the bathroom was a toilet brush. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We didn't use the restaurant but when visiting the bar the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall our visit was very good and we would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the area.

i would ask that the smokers had a better place to stand with overhead cover rather than just outside the main door had to negotiate three people to get in the door. why does anyone think smoking by the entrance to anywhere is a good idea?
