Unique Cottage Nestled Within Tall Oaks - SLEEPS 6!

We are confident that once you arrive it will be hard to leave. Our cottage sits on 5 wooded acres very private offering a 6 person hot tub, full kitchen, one bedroom with queen size bed , one queen size sleeper sofa and twin bunks in the great room , stone woodburning fireplace, outdoor firepit, front porch, 52ft balcony loverlooking the tall oaks and wildlife, and gas grill.


Our price includes all bed and bath linens, hot tub towels, as well as your departure cleaning.

Wonderful Escape
This was our 2nd time staying here. We made it a tradition to stay the weekend for our anniversary. It’s the perfect escape and we could truly unplug and relax. We took advantage of the peace and quiet and watched movies together, had wonderful conversations, and used the hot tub. Everything we needed was there and the host Brian is amazing. If you’re looking to unplug and be in a serene atmosphere, this is the place. It’s close enough to town also if you want to venture out. We will be back next year!

A beautiful place. Will go back again.
We all loved this place. it's so quiet there that gives a strange feeling but in a good way. The hot tub was clean and the kids had a great time there. Brian is honestly the best I've seen regarding communications. I hope that I can deal with him again which I'm planning in the future. My friends are so interested in this cabin and they are planning to go there too.

Perfect woodsy cabin
My sisters and I stayed here to attend a retreat that was very close by. The cabin was clean, and had everything we needed to cook, sleep well and relax. The views on the back porch made you feel like we were in the middle of a lush forest instead of just a few miles away from stores and restaurants. While we weren’t there very much as we were going back and forth to our event, it was exactly what we needed. Our host was very helpful with answering questions and making sure we had all we needed for the check in process. Should we ever attend the same retreat in future years, we would stay here again.

Awesome cabin!
The cabin was exactly what you’d expect in the woods of hocking. The hot tub was perfect and there was a great collection of nostalgic movies and CDs for us to enjoy. Appreciate the stay!

Beautiful cabin, very clean, great location, uncomfortable beds, no firewood provided as stated in add. The beds made the trip miserable for everyone. No one slept well.The owners need to buy decent mattresses. The place itself is wonderful, but bring air mattresses. We had to buy air mattress to get any sleep.

Nice cozy cabin
We didn't have any issues finding the property, there's space for two cars, three if you're good at maneuvering! There was no firewood cut up unfortunately, but we ended up buying some nearby. While looking for firewood, I ended up stepping on a board with a nail that went into my toe, but it was minor. One thing I do wish, is that the beds were more comfortable for adults, and the hot tub was super loaded with chemicals so I think we may have slight chemical burns. We did have a great time, and the place was overall very nice, clean and cozy. Just watch your step, and check the hot tub before soaking!

Perfect long weekend!
We had the most relaxing weekend in this property. The cabin was spotless and cozy. Be prepared to turn your phone off though due to no WiFi. (This was our favorite part!) although the window beside the fireplace was the perfect place to charge and check for messages. There is a great collection of games and DVDs (which we donated more to both!) My husband and I both have very hectic work schedules, so it was a dream to sit by the fire with a glass of wine while playing Sorry! with our daughter who is 7. The cabin is very well stocked and had everything we needed! The owner was very kind and excellent at communicating and helping with anything we needed. We were a short distance from the state park and a fun fleemarket! It was the best long weekend we’ve had in a long time! We look forward to visiting again sometime.

The cabin location is great for being close to hiking trails and to provide the opportunity to unplug from every day hectic schedules. Cell service does not work at the cabin, so truly unplugging! Watching the deer in the back of the property made our mornings. We appreciated the quietness. However, this cabin needs a lot of TLC inside and outside. We left with a long list of things that need fixed and/or could be improved for future guests - all have been provided to the owner.

This was my first vrbo booking and it was smooth and easy. Owner was nice, cabin was super clean, and had all we needed. Hot tub was a blessing, location was nice. So glad we picked here to stay. We are a family of five… 10,10,4… all enjoyed.

A great weekend away
The cabin was clean, beautiful, and comfortable and was the perfect place to spend a quiet birthday weekend. The host was communicative and awesome to work with. My only complaint and the reason I’m not leaving a five star review is that when we went to get in the hot tub it was green with stuff floating in it (most likely chemicals) and a useable hot tub was a requirement when choosing a cabin. I did text the owner on Friday and he said he could have someone out on Saturday if we wanted but our trip was so short we didn’t want to deal with maintenance people so we declined. Overall it was a great experience and aside from the hot tub issue a perfect cabin for a couple.

My husband and I have stayed at Hocking Hills in the past, this was our first time at this cabin/cottage and it is exactly as described! It’s very tranquil- peaceful- beautiful!! We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the privacy it offers! The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking and seeing the sights! The bed was so comfortable and we loved all the personal touches! We also found the hidden object and rehid it! What a great idea!! No complaints and would recommend to anyone who wants to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other! Easy check in and out! The issue we had was promptly taken care of by Brian! Would love to re visit next year! Thank You!! The Cuffe’s

My weekend getaway.
The house was very nice however there wasn’t Wi-Fi, very little parking, and no outdoor lights. Towels weren’t that clean. Toilet doesn’t flush in between uses. Have to wait 10-15 mins to flush. Stove may be going out it took an hour to cook eggs. Very spacious living room. May want to fix the curtain in the bottom basement area it’s kind of creepy at night when in jacuzzi feels like someone is down there looking at you lol. Over all I enjoyed staying there.

Tall Oaks cabin is amazing!
My husband went for a weekend getaway - the cabin was beautiful and the wooded setting was amazing!!! We really enjoyed our time just relaxing in nature. The owner, Brian was very nice had good communication letting us know the check-in process - we will definitely stay here again :)))

So confortable
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, free from technology, this beautiful cabin is AMAZING!! Easily one of the most comfortable, clean, and homey places we've ever stayed in!! Has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation! We loved the location, which is 10 minutes to town (food, stores), and 20 minutes from the park and hiking!
