The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room functionality was poor. No windows, felt like sleeping in a tomb. Only one hook to hang towel when 2 people using room. Having to use hair dryer in main living area not good need power outlet in bathroom for this. Only one chair for 2 people. Fridhe did not work. Bed mattress was old, lumpy and collapsed on sides. Needs to be Queen size mattress in good condition. Pillows were old, flat & uncomfortable.

Overall it was a decent stay. Would I stay again? Probably not if I had other choices. It was clean, close to transportation, and had a nice staff. The two things that got me were that it was hot inside of the room. Now could I have asked the staff about it yes (that was on me for assuming). The other thing was just poor timing with the construction being done on the hotel. Some of the pieces created a constant thumping noise.

It advertised as a king size bed. It was only a double. Daughter had to get another room at a cost of $1000 since bed was too small for two. Her room a/c did not cool the room at first. Took 2 days to cool. Construction sounds of drilling & hammering lasted til 6 one nihht & 8 pm another. No dining available at night.

Great Hotel for a short stop. Hyde Park and transport easily accesible. Some renovations taking place when I stayed, but I'm sure this will only add to the place when completed. Definitely will use again!

The thermostat in the room not working. Room temp 25 degrees. No cold water in basin tap. Brushed teeth in hot water. Shower thermostat not working, couldn’t use shower as too hot- no cold water running.

Basic things were a bit hard.. we booked a room for a couple with a baby.. we asked for an extra towel 4 times and never got one. Breakfast is good. Lobby comfortable. Hotel is under major renovation. Location is perfect!!

Great location. So close to the tube stations and Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. Lovely old building. Nice and warm as soon as we went into the building. Room on the first floor. Very comfortable and good quality bedding. Big king size bed. Can't fault anything.

The room appeared to be a twin with the beds pushed together. You had to stand on bed to open and close the curtains.the television was only visible from One side of the bed. There was no bedside tables or drawers to put clothes in.

Lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay! Staff were very friendly and accommodating as we checked in late! Easy luggage storage at the hotel which made our day easier.

I booked because the price was good, but then after paying they sent me an email saying, they were remodeling the building...that was the catch! Then I got there at 2:30 pm my room was ready so I asked if they will be able to give me acces to my room and they say yes but I will have to pay for early check in, come on the check in was at 3:00 pm, they want me to pay for 30 mins!! They don't go extra on customer service...Room was clean but to dark for me.

Property is under renovations which was expected; I received a renovated room which was excellent; I had minimal staff interaction and when I did they were helpful. I except for a very brief period once I did not detect any noise from the renovations. Despite the room being newly renovated, I could tell the mattress pillows etc were new from the chemical smell which i unfortunately am allergic too. Hotel is close to the tube therefore easy to get around
