A delightful 4 bedroom home in South-West London, with a stylish kitchen and garden. Perfect for up to 7 guests.

Set in a classic Victorian home on a quiet street. Through the front door, to the entrance hall, with original Victorian tiling on the floor. A few steps down, to the living area.

LIVING ROOM
With wooden floors throughout, the living room is light and sophisticated in style. A geometric patterned rug fills the floor, with a sofa and blue velvet armchairs by the window. A traditional fireplace occupies the centre of the space, with beautiful tiling around the harth. On the right of this, is a television.

On the opposite side of the room, is a further fireplace, with bookcases on either side and a circular wooden table in the centre and another sofa. The space is decorated in chic artwork and mirrors.

KITCHEN & DINING SPACE
The kitchen is a contemporary dream, with characterful touches, including the pitched roof and white beams above. In the centre of the space, is a large wooden dining table and chairs, which overlooks the garden. French doors lead to the outside space.
The kitchen itself is sleek and fully equipped with all the amenities you will need during your stay, including a wine fridge. A quirky feature of the space is the cool, blue neon sign which hangs above the basin.

GARDEN
A beautiful patio garden, decorated with plants and filled with lots of relaxing seating areas including tables and chairs, loungers and a parasol.

BATHROOM
On the first floor, is the first bathroom with a shower, basin and WC, all in sleek stone-coloured tiles.

FIRST BEDROOM
A light bedroom, with vintage style features. The room includes a double bed bedside tables and a dressing table with chair. There is a large mirror on the wall and a wooden wardrobe on the opposite side.

MASTER BEDROOM
A few steps up to the second bedroom, with a bay window and a double bed in the centre. The room also comprises a wardrobe, bookcase, bedside tables and a chest-of-drawers.

BATHROOM
This modern bathroom includes a bath, WC and basin.

THIRD BEDROOM
On the top floor, is a further petite bedroom. With a single bed and bedside table, this space is decorated with framed pictures and a bookcase.

FOURTH BEDROOM
The final bedroom is light and airy, with a double bed in the centre. In one corner of the room is a hanging rail for guest use and there is a bookcase as well.

Wonderful house with garden and easy access to public transportation.
This property was wonderful for our family with teens/older kids. The houae is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. We have plenty of cookware and everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is fully modernized and opens to a nice garden. One note for those traveling dueinf summer, as with most London homes, there is no air conditioning. The property manager provided fans for each bedroom, which helped improve sleeping comfort. We would happily rent this home again!

Wonderful Experience
We rented a home in London through VRBO with Veeve. The experience was wonderful! The home was exactly as expected from the photos and listing. We contacted Veeve in advance to see if we were able to check in early and they responded quickly. We were a bit late to check in due to a delay at the airport. They responded right away and were so accommodating and kind. They sent an email prior to us arriving with information about the house and recommendations of local stores and eateries. They made our trip very comfortable. We did not need to contact them during our stay as everything with the home was perfect. The check out process was very easy. We followed the checkout instructions that were emailed to us a couple of days before we left. The home was very comfortable and accommodated everything we needed. The only con I would say is the bathroom door had a window on it that faced the staircase so anyone walking up the stairs could see what was being done in the bathroom. A small drape would fix that problem. We used a towel to cover the window. This was just a small inconvenience but overall it was amazing! There is just a small walk to the train stations/pubs/grocery stores. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and felt very safe. We would totally rent with Veeve and VRBO again and recommend them to everyone!

Great Balham Location in London
This home in London provided our site seeing family an excellent and safe location from which to explore the city in depth. Fortunately for our family, we planned our London trip to include primarily Oyster Card travel. Of course, we couldn't have known there would be a transportation strike! On the days of worker strikes, we hired Zipcar rentals that were conveniently located in very short walking distance. The Balham Underground station is on the Northern line which gets you to Central London site seeing in quick, cheap, easy terms. It should be mentioned that this house is an older home with a modern kitchen. Small or rowdy children might have an issue due to the three levels of stairs and older windows/doors with real single-pane glass and older wooded framing. Renters will have to utilize the windows because there is no air conditioning in the home. The windows and smalls fans made the nights bearable on the hottest nights. It should also be noted that the sun sets around 9:30p and rises around 4am in the summer...and the street side planation shutters do not block the light. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and the top level bedroom has a single. All appliances worked very well. There is a wine refrigerator as well if one needs. The Aldi Supermarket in Balham, across the street from the Balham Underground station, has extremely good value wines under $6. There are a number of exceptional restaurants in close proximity (Balham) including The Cyclist and Hache. There is also a huge supermarket nearby the Aldi if additional selection is necessary. The Veeve team were quick to respond to email or WhatsApp messages and the checkout process was very easy. I would not only recommend this location to others, but will be looking for it in future returns to UK.

Great Flat in London!
My family stayed here for 5 days and couldn't have been happier with the place and especially the location. The flat is within a 8-10 minute walk of a tube station, made things really easy when traveling to and from central London.

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana presso questa fantastica proprietà. La casa è deliziosa, funzionale e curata in ogni dettaglio, tanto che le fotografie pubblicate non rispecchiano a sufficienza quanto sia realmente accogliente. La metropolitana e la stazione del treno si trovano a pochi minuti di distanza come i negozi i caffè e ristoranti. Non posso che confermare quanto già scritto dagli altri ospiti nelle recensioni.
