If you stay at Charing X you expect convenient - and this delivers. The staff are friendly and the bar and restaurant are good despite being lightly used. The hotel could do with a refurb., but the pricing reflects that so I felt it to be good value. Notrthumberland Avenue seemed to be in gridlock most mornings so taxis surprisingly difficult. Despite being a Londoner, I hadn’t appreciated the level of homelessness- it is very apparent around this area as there are many charity feeding stations. Depressing.

This hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance of London Eye, Big Ben and central underground train line. Water, coffee and tea are complimentary and available daily. The hotel staff are very helpful. My only complaint is that the rooms are a bit dated. However they are comfortable and clean.

Great location, clean hotel and has amazing coffee machine in the lounge. Cameron at the reception was great and very helpful. Room was clean and small. I did not like that I had to ask for small refrigerator to be delivered to my room. And there was no safe box in the room either. I was told that I had an option to use safety box at the reception, but I feel that it was not comfortable. Otherwise, I was happy with this hotel.

Beautiful hotel situated in a great area! The staff are helpful and kind. There is free coffee and a tea available. Hotel has a lovely buffet (for a fee) and a lot of eating options near. This will be our go to place to stay for every future visit!

The service staff are beyond excellent!
The staff was the best! We had interactions with Serena and she was so helpful and pleasant. One was looking for things todo. The other was our departure and transportation to the Victoria coach station. All of the staff from the front desk, the restaurant and the housekeeping staff were excellent and took care of our needs. We felt spoiled.
