Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very conveniently situated for walking, museums, dining and shopping. It’s one step above economy but below luxury and is excellent for a short stay, but would be tiring for longer stays because of everything that’s going on in the area. The area (Trafalgar Square) is very busy at all times, day and night, with tourists, as is expected, but also homeless people. The staff were very nice, the room was small for two people with two large suitcases (superior double city view) but would be ok for one person. I felt like everything was miniature but it may be common for London. The room was clean and neat, had everything that’s needed, the windows are large and sound proof which was a big plus. Bed and beddings were comfortable. Especially liked the duvet. In terms of amenities there aren’t many - coffee shop downstairs serves coffee and pastries around the clock and offers a pretty good breakfast in the morning. For the first time visitors it is a good choice as its is short walk to many major attractions and it is very well communicated: tube, buses right there, and a pier a short distance away. Hard to get lost. Also 2 min walk to Tesco Express supermarket.
