Not the best.
Small room - typical of London for this price. No service really compared to other rooms/hotels in the area ā€¦.the drain in the shower didnā€™t drain well - so we had to turn off the shower while showeringā€¦.and my guess is there had been some floods as the room smelled musty.

The stay was terrible, thereā€™s a lift in the hotel that only takes you to the 3rd floor. We were on the 4th. You had to climb another set of stairs that twisted around were youā€™ll nearly lose your balance. The room was the smallest room ever. The bathroom is that bad you can stand in it but you canā€™t even close the door because itā€™s that small. The shower was a struggle to even get into it was that bad. And the temperature on the shower didnā€™t work so it was boiling. There were bottle caps on the floor and dust everywhere so the room definitely wasnā€™t even cleaned before we entered it yet we werenā€™t allowed to check in early?! The only good thing was that the bed was relatively comfortable. Will never be back.

I have stayed in this hotel before as a single. But this time the room was so tiny there wouldnā€™t have even been space for a handbag let alone my suitcase. Lift was out of order and tiny room was on third floor. This room should not be sold at all. Would just fit the vacuum cleaner that blocked the hallway.

We chose the Queensway Hotel primarily for its convenient location to Paddington Station. It is within an easy walking distance. The hotel is in a restored an updated row of old Victorian townhomes & is rather quaint looking on the outside. The inside is very plain with basic decor, but we did find it very clean. Our room was small as expected by the description. There is no air conditioning & we happened to arrive during a heat wave & our room was stiflingly hot. We had two tiny hand held fan that we travelled with & that was our only breeze. During cooler weather it would probably be fine. The bathroom was larger than expected but didn't have any kind of shelf to put toiletries on, so that was somewhat inconvenient having to step out each time to get the necessary items to apply makeup etc. The desk in the room was attached to the wall in the corner with a mirror hung on the wall over it but perpendicular to the desk. That was the only place to plug in a curling iron to fix my hair, but I had to sit at the opposite end of the desk to see myself. The staff however, was very accommodating & had checked in advance to see if we had any special requests. Told them I couldn't do many steps so they placed us on the first floor. The elevator only covers three floors. Price was fair given its location & for a couple of nights, it was a place to sleep. Likely would not choose it again mostly because of no AC.

When I asked the front desk clerk if the would arrange a cab for us back to the airport I got the biggest run around of an answer anyone has ever given me. He only had one number to call and it wasnā€™t working. Really? In the city of London you only know ONE taxi service? I wound up doing Uber but my gosh that was negative customer service experience.

Staff was extremely helpful. We were warmly received and shown our room and how to operate the hot water, windows, etc. We liked the three twin bed option for three people. Great value for the money. We would stay here again.

Great for a short stay.
The location is excellent for a stay in London. Close to restaurants and the train station. Our room was very very small. The shower was difficult to get in and out of. Bed was comfortable. Great budget selection

Lovely building in fantastic location. Victorian building , so there are steps to take even with the lift. May not be suitable for everyone. Our room even has steps down to the bathroom from our actual room. (Private and attached, just down a small staircase). There is no AC. Our room was in the back with no airflow and it was hottest day of the year so it was quite uncomfortable . Fans were provided. Overall a good value

It was perfect for what we needed. Clean, safe, friendly staff and super easy access to Paddington station and a great place from which to walk all over London. Would absolutely stay here again.
