Property is well located within walking distance of many theatres, the British Museum, Trafalgar Square and bargain shopping at Primark. The new Elizabeth line makes it a quick trip from LHR to the hotel just two blocks away. Staff is helpful and considerate. I have stayed here many times and paid for an "upgraded" single room. I knew it would be small and it has a bed, small desk and small chair, but there were only two clothes hangers and one very flat pillow. I foraged for more hangers at Primark and asked for and got a second pillow. TV reception is good; desk is very small and there is limited storage. One small glass shelf above the sink in bathroom, small towel rack and no hooks on the bathroom door or inside the room. Even a hook for the extra roll of toilet paper would be appreciated as it is stored on the small glass shelf above the sink. Shelves and hooks would really help with storage. They are constantly upgrading the hotel and the restaurant. All you can eat breakfast is good and affordable. If you stay there the cost is 12.50 GBP. Smokers gather outside the hotel entrance and there are some dirty looking storage areas between the hotel entrance and Tottenham Ct Rd where food, laundry, etc are handled. There are stairs from the entrance up to reception. Concierge and staff are always willing to carry suitcases up the stairs if they are asked. Four elevators serve all the floors and one was not working. Ice machines on 2 & 3 but no buckets or cups.

hotel was great but i should have been advised that construction was going on and Hotels.com was not honest about showing pictures of a swimming pool as being part of their amenities. Also the water was shut off for a day and there was no addjustment in price for that nightmare experience.

The location is great, the hotel is only okay. The rooms don't have any sort of refrigeration or fans in the washrooms. We were on our honeymoon and a few restaurants gave us free food but we couldn't store it anywhere.
