A lovely hotel - right in the middle of london. The quality of accommodation is very high, and it is matched with excellent customer care. The complimentary in room bar is a lovely touch.

This was a fabulous location for my taste. It was close to the Thames, so I could walk to Tate Modern. I booked a Superior Single room, and I am still puzzled. The room was tiny and lacked amenities. Next time I will book a double, even if travelling solo. Also, loved the uniformed doormen who always had a cheery greeting -- a nice British touch.

I spent four nights at the Strand Palace and was sad to leave. Being on my own, I opted for one of the single rooms. While it was indeed cozy, it was clean and comfortable and did not feel cramped. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is in the perfect location for exploring. Close to the Charing Cross tube station, Waterloo train station, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. Would definitely stay at the Strand Palace again.
