A totally private cabin on the farm, upstairs overlooking a beautiful pond. Facing morning sunrises over the trees. Totally quiet, with no traffic on a dead end road. Enjoy your coffee while watching deer pass by daily to feed and refresh them self in the pond. Inside the rustic cabin are 1" thick cedar walls, completely furnished for an amazing and relaxing stay.
We are about a mile from Heartlight.

Very Quiet Place
I was there visiting my son who is there playing baseball. The property was perfect for just me. Very clean and quiet. There is a grill outside which I used a few times. Cheryl responded to texts right away. I only wish it was cooler so I could have enjoyed some of the trails. Didn’t get to see their dog as much because he was in the shade and I didn’t blame him. Will definitely stay here again if I come back.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was clean and was just as described although the pictures dont do it justice! Absolutely a beautiful slice of heaven! Cheryl was great and had great and helpful info in the book at the cabin. I will definitely consider staying here again when visiting my Dad!

Cedar Cabin stay
This place was just perfect for my husband & I. We were visiting our children & granddaughters who live in Hallsville. It was only a mile away from their home. Property was private, well groomed & peaceful. The cabin was so clean & comfortable. The stairs were a little challenge at first but we got used to them & it gave us some exercise. So quiet @ night. We would sit on the deck for coffee in the morning. We definitely will return to this place when the opportunity arises. No more hotels for us in Longview area, we loved the cabin. The host Cheryl went above & beyond to back sure our stay was comfortable!! thanks Cheryl

Perfect spot to get away from the city for a bit. Has everything you need, but not too far from town if you need anything. I had some trouble with the keypad (this was probably user error!), but quickly rectified. Communication beforehand was great, and I was so glad to be able to bring my dogs.

Such a beautiful place!
We were so pleased staying here we extended once and tried to extend again, but there was another booking already. The host was super easy to communicate with, and very responsive and accommodating. Our daughter lives close by so we will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

We enjoyed some much-needed quiet time in the country. Very nice cabin provided with everything needed to relax and enjoy. Great location that is very convenient to restaurants and shops. Loved the balcony and watching deer at the pond!

Beautiful property and Cheryl was very accommodating. Only negative were the red wasps, but they were all over at our family's house in town too, so it's not just the cabin. Overall very pleasant stay :)

Friendly hosts. Cheryl was very accommodating. We even showed up early before check in by accident, and she said no worries. We got to let our small dogs run around which is a bonus. Very calm retreat overall.

Beautiful peaceful stay!
We loved staying at the cedar cabin! The property was beautiful, pictures don't do it justice!! Big mature trees, large pond, trails that go down to a creek. It was awesome. We even got to bring our dog Shadow, a 2yr old playful German shepherd. I was so happy he was able to stay with us, and that he had space to play and walk around. He even made friends with Gavel, a yellow lab that is also the property tour guide :) The cabin was so cute, as a native Texan, I really enjoyed the Texas theme and the history they incorporated into it. Incredible place. Would 100% stay again! Thank you!
