Charming, Private, Poolside Cottage

Quiet and spacious poolside cottage, detached, on private property with its own bathroom, kitchenette, access, washer/dryer. Saltwater pool and spa, large shared yard (owner lives on site in main house) Fireplace, wi-fi, king size bed, large space. Brand new Beautyrest Silver mattress, sheets, towels, etc. Pool is heated from April through November. It can be heated for your stay by request for an extra fee. ** To be clear, this not a public pool. It is a private pool but please know that the pool and jacuzzi are shared with other property guests and the owner’s family in the main house.

Serene spot in the perfect neighborhood
I don’t have enough room on this review to describe how perfect this spot was. Steven is a gracious host and the cottage was exactly what we hoped for. Cozy, inviting, and a quiet escape from the busy and exciting energy of LA. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful neighborhood and good location for LA outings
This cottage is located at the back of a long, narrow lot with the main house on the street end. Beautiful property and landscaping and were wowed by the pool and hot tub. We arrived shortly after 4pm check in time and housekeeping was still in the cottage cleaning, which was awkward and a little irritating as we just drove almost 4 hours from Sequoia NP. The cottage was clean with basics supplied. Large smart TV, couch and fireplace -very cozy. Recommend an additional mirror, full length would be appreciated! I understood from the listing the home owner/family may use the pool but didn't think they actually would if there were guests in the cottage. Learned once there, that there is also a rental in the main house plus the owner/family, and all could be using the pool/hot tub, which are located right outside of the door to the cottage! There is no privacy between the cottage and the main house either so still felt uncomfortable being out at the pool. Several men walking around in the backyard one day. I value my privacy too much, would not choose to stay again. Met the host on our way out as we were checking out. I appreciated that he came out; not as communicative as other hosts pre-stay. Cooper, the co-host dog, was wonderful. He came to check on us a couple of times and treats for him are provided in the cottage (I also brought some from home for him :)

Beautiful Setting
Stayed at the property for a few days celebrating my birthday and visiting our daughter. As many have commented, the neighborhood is wonderful and the property setting is beautiful. The cottage itself provides everything you’ll need and is essentially a guest home on the hosts property. However, do not hesitate to book, Steven (the host) has excellent communication and is readily available to tend to any issues and to assure that you are taken care. Cooper his co-host, adds a friendly charm to stay and loves his treats!

Lovely poolside cottage.
Looked exactly as the picture. All accomodations listed were there. The host was very nice and easy to reach/communicate with. Check in process was very simple. It was a very nice area close to attractions like Universal and Hollywood Walk of Fame. Loved it. Pool was beautiful. The only issue was my sister and I struggled to understand how to work the washer/dryer. We had to contact the host and he responded right away! Would recommend.

I booked this stay for my husband to have a quiet and peaceful space to study for a licensing exam for a few days. Small kiddos at home means it’s not the best for focus. The space was amazing and the host was so responsive and kind. I visited with the kids a few times, the pool was gorgeous and the pool area was beautiful and so fun. My husband found the pool house perfect, equipped with everything you’d need. It was quiet and peaceful, comfortable and the location was perfect as well! Quiet residential neighborhood but also very easy to get into popular parts of LA and minutes from Griffith park, the LA zoo and other points of interest.

Wonderful stay!
My 18yo daughter and I wanted a clean, private place with a pool and this is exactly what we received! This was our first trip to LA but have VRBO’d to other cities. Very appreciative for the quiet neighborhood, ease of parking, amazing accommodations and extremely responsive host! Would absolutely book this again and highly recommend it - the highlight was Cooper the co- host!! Thanks Steve for a great stay in LA!

We loved this property for our trip to LA. It’s quiet, in a lovely neighborhood, and we loved having a pool to ourselves. Cottage was big enough to be very comfortable with two people and we loved having a fridge and freezer to use. Cooper was a wonderful addition.

Cozy Perfection
We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and couldn't have been more pleased. The pool house is cozy, private, and peaceful. The neighborhood is picturesque. Steve was a wonderful host, and his dog, Cooper, is the sweetest old gentleman you'll ever meet. If you are looking for a nice quiet place, this is amazing

Perfect gorgeous cottage in great neighborhood
This is our second stay at this cottage. Our son lives in Glendale and my husband and I have found this cottage to be the perfect place to stay while visiting him. We hope to be back next year.

We’ve been renting this unit when we visit the Burbank area. Access is easy. Parking is a breeze. There is a small kitchenette, so we avoid dining out all of the time. Having the private outdoor sitting area is one of the best features. The owner resides in the main house, and is a wonderful guy.

Perfect way to celebrate our 25th Anniversary
My husband and I absolutely loved this charming pool cottage! It’s in a very family friendly neighborhood and close enough to the action without being in the chaos of downtown. We loved ending our nights in the hot tub with a cold beverage, perfect way to end the night! The host was super friendly and we loved having treats to give his sweet dog when we saw him. We would definitely rent again if we are in the area!
