Our air conditioner didn’t cool properly and when we turned it on low or high, it made such loud noises that we couldn’t even hear the tv. We were afraid to keep it on because it kept us awake and we knew the people in the rooms around us would be disturbed too

The hotel itself was fine. The checkin process was clunky, as they had rooms available, but we still had to sit in the lobby for over an hour before we got our rooms. The surrounding area is HORRIBLE. Smells of human feces, people doing drugs on the property, etc. If you have to be in downtown LA, this is a decent hotel in the middle of a horrible area.

The hotel itself was fine. It was clean and comfortable however, parking cost $47 a night for guests which I found to be way overpriced. The area the hotel is located in is Little Tokyo. Lots of food options and shopping but very dirty, unclean and plenty of homeless people made it feel unsafe and unwelcoming.

Did not have the best experience at this location. First day there the room they gave me was dirty and the A/C was not working whatsoever. Called and complain and they moved me to a new room, A/C still didn’t work and the power/ water went out for hours the first day. Normally I enjoy the stay at the double tree but this one in particular was outdated

I always love this hotel since its walking distance to my favorite Little Tokyo. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!!!!

The hotel room was in bad condition. The room was so run down and poorly maintain. The shower, the sink faucet, the towel hook had major operational issue. On the morning of our checkout, the ceiling in the bathroom had a major leak and the bathroom floor was full of water. Words cannot adequately describe the room condition. I would personally never stay in this hotel again.
