It was surface clean but relied heavy on air fresheners. The frame for the bed made a super loud bang sound - even if you were just sitting on the bed. It was so weird. Very thin walls and flooring. Coffee had run out in the morning and not refilled. Door was constantly locked and check in had glass wall - felt unsafe.

We went to rhe Hollywood Bowl. This hotel was affordable and a convenient Uber ride away. Room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we were expecting.

Good Budget Option
If you're looking for a budget friendly option to wander Hollywood or go to a show nearby, this place was a great choice. The guy behind the counter, who I believe was the owner, was very helpful and kind. The room was clean and somewhat renovated. Small, but in plenty good shape for a night or two stay. The bed, while not luxurious, was sufficent, albeit noisy. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave which is a big plus if you have leftover food. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. My biggest concern is not the hotel itself but the area around. It's fine during the day, but not really a place you want to be walking around after 9pm, so we took an uber straight back from the show we attended even though it was walkable. Overall, if you're looking to save money and willing to sacrifice a little comfort, it's a good budget option and the owner is very accommodating and helpful. I would stay here again for a night or two if I was in town for a quick show.

Clean, comfortable, convenient to Hollywood Blvd
Clean and comfortable room. The hotel is located within our event so it was very convenient for us. Paid $10 per night for parking in their unsecured lot, but didn't have any issues. Check-in person was friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night so we didn't experience cleaning service, but a friendly housekeeping staff member who said goodbye to us on our way out looked like she was going to work on our room next.
