Unique vibe with very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were adequate but could use some shining up. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at hotel was disappointing — slow to be seated, slow to be served, and over easy egg was over medium when it arrived. Pool side snack, dinner and drinks were excellent. Tuna guacamole is a winner. The GM took care of us. Thank you!

Less than perfect stay
I wanted to have a pleasant experience but a couple of issues caused me to lower my review score. First, the hotel did not have any face towels available my first night. I don’t know how a hotel can run out of face towels. Second, the restaurant could not handle the order demands for the amount of guest. So I couldn’t order breakfast before my event. These two issue made it a less than perfect experience for me. Oh I almost forgot. I had to have maintenance come fix my A/C. However they were quick in fixing the issue.

The hotel makeover apparently concentrated primarily in the public areas. The lobby decor is really nice. As for rooms---- ours was very small; the noisy air conditioning unit, coupled with LOUD noise thru the wall from the room next door (conversation and TV) kept us up most of the night. And a few odd things: no soap dish for bar soap at the sink? Not enough places to hang towels? I sent a complaint about noise to the hotel. Their response was to offer "complimentary" ear plugs on my next stay. I don't think so.

Stayed fkr k e night for my bday and used this as a slight getaway. I’m a mother and I never get to sleep in and really relax so I def used my bi-level suite to relax. Can’t wait to plan another night again!

This was a great clean stay. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re planning to stay in Pasadena! It is a neat and interesting atmosphere throughout the hotel with music, lighting and artwork. Restaurant is simply nice too!

Very nice place with friendly staff and great amenities. Biggest complaint I have is that it costs $30 a night for parking, but there is a light rail only a few blocks away anyways.

Great hotel. Expensive parking
Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dena. Rooms were clean and spacious. The area is lovely with plenty in walking distance as well. Only criticism is the $30 per night parking charge. Seems steep to me to not have it includd with the room, and not something i knew about before we arrived.
