I hopped on the Sonesta shuttle at LAX but ended up at a different Sonesta hotel. My fault, but it could be made more clear in the outside of the shuttle.

My husband and I came for a business trip for a one night stay and received poor customer service from housekeeping. The room was not vacuumed, there were crumbs all over the couch when we walked in and the housekeeper was extremely rude. We received hard knocks on our door at 8am, 9:30am and 10:00am respectively. Housekeeping entered our room at 9:30am without our permission and it felt extremely invasive and intrusive. To add injury to insult, we overheard the same housekeeper complaining outside of our room that she can’t get in to clean and we won’t get out! We PAID for the room for ONE NIGHT! It's bad enough hotels now require a late check-in ant 4:00pm and early check-out. We will be requesting a full refund for our stay.

Excellent hotel with free shuttle
It was very convenient because of the free shuttle to the airport. The beds and sofa were extremely comfortable and everything was clean and just what we needed for a good night's rest.

Everyone at the front desk that assisted me was incredibly helpful and nice. My stay there for 4 nights was amazing. The pool was lovely and the rooms got nice and cold. Will stay again

I recently stayed at Sonesta and my experience was average at best. The room had a lingering smell of feet and the floors felt damp. The bathrooms were okay. The rooms are in need of remodeling. On the positive side, the beds were clean, and having a balcony was a nice touch. Overall, it's an okay hotel, but don't expect anything fancy.
