Nice size room, clean property. Very quiet. Parking was easy, although one early am we were frightened by a homeless person sleeping by the elevators in the garage. They weren’t scary, we just weren’t expecting anyone there as we stepped off the elevator. Not the property or staff’s fault by any means and wouldn’t deter us from staying there again. The surrounding area is great. Near the beach, food, ice cream, Target and Starbucks!!!! Staff was attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great inexpensive option. Kinda odd that the foundation for the bed was aluminum frame. So when you accidentally kick it you not only alarm yourself with the loud metal clash, but I’m sure you’re neighbors can hear it to.

When we arrived at 11:30 PM we were told that our reservation had been cancelled and the property was full. I booked this hotel about 5 weeks prior to our arrival and everything went through. I had confirmation and had made sure we would be able to check in that late because our flight from Florida didn't arrive until 9PM. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me they tried reaching out to let us know there was a problem.....I responded to him that we were on a flight so we didn't have the ability to answer a phone call. So we were stuck in an unfamiliar city looking for a place that would accommodate our family of 5. Not a very good start to our vacation nor did it leave a good taste about the hotel and the management. They said there was a problem with the card so they cancelled it. I have had this card for over 15 years, weird there was an issue all of a sudden. Just BEWARE you may not have a room when you get there.

The way the property was designed it was very quiet could not hear the road noise and so it was easy to get some needed rest.

Clean, but extremely poor service
Place is clean. No complaints other than the young lady working there is EXTREMELY disrespecful in the way she speaks to guests. Hotel seems to be family-owned and it’s clear this young lady does not want to be there, nor does she have an ounce of customer service training - especially in the area of hospitality where people want to feel welcomed on their vacation. Breakfast could also be a little better, as well.

Good thing a Starbucks was across the street as the “free” continental breakfast was nearly nonexistent, except for the coffee. I snagged the only piece of fruit, a banana, that was offered. Cheap, highly processed pastries were available in plastic, also. Sad excuse for breakfast.

Overall a very nice motel. The underground parking was awesome! It was very close and convenient to Hermosa and Redondo Beach. Only issue was the awful bed and pillows. There was just a mattress on top of a metal box. It hurt our backs and we woke up stiff and sore.The breakfast was just different types of bread, but it was free. Liked the convenient location, but probably would not stay again due the awful bed.
