one of the early resort establishments in Cabo, some rooms are dated but they are large and clean, location is excellent, Marina is across the street, staff are friendly and helpful, pools are great, family pool is heated, food choices and quality are 8 out of 10, will stay there again and recommending to family travel with young kids.

We had a good stay overall. The resort is in a great location and walkable to many attractions. Dining options were pretty good for an all inclusive and the kids really enjoyed the pool and activities. The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness of the room we got. After the first day the room started smelling really bad from the toilets. This was regardless of whether we used it or not. The smell was coming from the drains. When I reported this to the reception the response was very slow. They eventually agreed to move us to a different room but only the day after. They came and treated the room with some chemicals that killed the smell for couple a days and it came back again later. Because of the hassle to move and the temporary treatment they did, we decided to just push thru in the room. Definitely not something I would’ve expected in a hotel of this reputation and cost. Nobody really followed up with us to see if things were ok etc as well.

We have stayed at many all inclusive resort, and though this one had a bunch of facilities we did not enjoy are stay as much for the following reasons - The staff was not friendly comparative to other resorts, they seemed unhappy (with a few exceptions) and rarely smiled. The food was very mediocre at best, not what you expect for the prices and the service was super slow, we had to wait 2 hours for a burger and it didnt show up. The cupcakes though great in selection were dry and felt stale. The overall facilities were good but in need of repairs, you could see crack etc in the pools and hot tubs, but overall good. On the plus side - the rooms were nice and spacious, overall very clean, lots of pools and places to hangout, so that was a plus.

Nicki runs the property tremendously. From front lobby staff like Alfredo, pool bar staff Carlos, Norma, Edgar, Angel, Alonzo were great. Entertainment team Carmen, Yuki, Eve, and Enrique. Tania and the Stones club and Bryam at the lobby bar will make you feel special like you’re the only guest at the resort. Shows are always great especially the While party on Wednesday so make sure to bring a white outfit during your stay. Food is always amazing. Take your pick from Emiliano’s, Don Diego, Tortuga Beach, or Agave, you can’t go wrong.

This is not a five star hotel. Rooms outdated and not in good condition. The food was somewhat edible but not good by any means. It is mass prepared food that may get heated up before they serve you or may not. The drinks were ok. Seems like some of the staff was annoyed when you asked for drinks. But some of the staff was great about it. Property location is beautiful, and our friends made the most of our stay here. But, I would not recommend or stay here again.

This was our 5th stay at the Sandos Finisterra and we already have our next trip booked to come back! The location is great for adventuring through the marina and down town. The staff is amazing and always ready to assist. Some of our favorites are the entertainment crew, Yuki, Carmen and Enrique are a blast! And you can expect the very best service by the pool from Norma! The property is clean and well maintained and just the right size to offer plenty to do but it's also easy to navigate.

Alcohol selection was mid to bottom shelf and the food was hit or miss. Most hot dishes were cold. NY steak was shoe leather in the steak house. Property was clean and in a good locations with good views. Been to too many other resorts in Cabo to ever go back to this one.
