Cozy cottage overlooking the sea located at Sandvik | SE04042

This cozy little cottage is located in a scenic setting just 300 meters from the sea and 4 km north of Sandvik in the famous Jordhamn.

The house has a functional kitchen with a dining area that overlooks the sea. The bathroom is newly built and has both a toilet and shower. The lovely bedroom is open up to the ridge and furnished with a double bed and a sofa, where a child can sleep. The house is located next to the owner's summer house and they can be on site sometimes. When the weather permits, you can experience fantastic sunsets over the sea, as the house is located on the western side of the island. For more information about the area, see www.persnas.se.

You can walk to the nice pebble beach in a few minutes. Here you will find the famous Jordhamn's scrubbing mill and old unique fishing huts built in stone. The house is also located next to Jordhamnsalvaret with vegetation that is very rich in both herbs and orchids.

Things to see and do in the local area
The seaport of Sandvik is a 5-minute drive away. Down in the harbor you will find the famous fish restaurant/shop Sandviks Fisk och Hamnkök and a short distance away is the Nordic region's largest windmill Sandviks Kvarn, where they serve Öland specialties such as potato dumplings but also pizza and kebabs. To the north you can visit Byxelkrok, where you can enjoy the atmosphere at the boat cottages down by the harbor with shops and flea markets or enjoy a good meal in one of the many restaurants. Böda's rolling beaches on the east side are also popular to visit. Don't miss out on a visit to Byrum to experience the sea stacks and the beautiful beaches. A visit to Borgholm is also recommended. Öland has lots of sights, fine sandy beaches and farm shops to discover.

Bed linen and towels are not available in the house – please bring your own.
Final cleaning is not included so you need to clean the house before departure.
Electricity is included in the price.
