the front desk lady was lovely. however there were dozens on nails in the parking lot that we had to move to get the car out. we didn't see them driving in, but they were there. there were nails on the sidewalk too that had to be avoided. the room was so-so clean and the shower was room temp at best. not a nice stay at all.

the front desk lady was lovely. however - we had to dodge nails to get to our room. there were renovations happening. i had to pick up 20-30 nails to avoid running them over as i left. i didn't realize they were there until i parked the car. the roofers were throwing debris carelessly into the parking lot and some of it hit cars. i had to avoid stepping on nails on the sidewalk too just to get to our room. this was at 430p. I understand maintenance happens but some warning would be nice OR maybe not rent out the rooms affected? i can't believe they hired such a careless roofing company and nobody from the hotel even bothered to think about the parking lot. we weren't instructed to avoid the area either. luckily we were there for a rugby tournament in louisville. we just needed a quick stay. i've got a few hotel chains on a "never again" list, Best Western is definitely on the list now. This was just negligence from management to not even consider the guests during renovations. 100% avoidable.

I arrived early, and the girl at the desk walked down to see if my room was ready. It was. So, she allowed be to check in a couple of hours early. It was very nice of her to personally check the room.

The room was yucky!
The room was not clean. At first look it would appear clean. There was multiple types of hairs in the bathroom. On the floor, toilet, bathtub. The second night there was black bugs found in the sheets of our beds. Then my niece had multiple bites the next morning, despite trying clean and throughly check the bedding.

Best motel stay
Nice property with friendly and helpful staff. Safe area, clean rooms, comfortable bed with a variety of pillows. As a motel, neighbors like to sit outside on walk in their folding chairs - very social. Breakfast included makes the Green Tree Inn a great value.

The woman who checked us in on Friday evening was very warm and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar, which was an important factor in choosing this motel was suffering from a lack of staff. The front desk person was stuck with a difficult customer while the bkfst area had no plates, no forks, no bacon. Im tired of these giant corporations being "understaffed". Treat your employees right and pay decently!
