Newly Renovated Excellent Property!
Amazing and we will definitely be back, from the front desk to the Silks Bar top notch service. A must stay when visiting Louisville. 360 workout room, great views, large selection of dining and bar options, close too many sights. Rooms very were clean and renovated. Walkway to Yum Center. There are so many amenities, I would recommend checking out their site!

Love staying at The Galt House. Rooms are spacious, the vibe is very “Louisville,” and it’s in the perfect location downtown. My husband and I have been staying here for many years and look forward to many more.

Unfortunately, the river front balcony suite is by the interstate and the road noise was terrible. LOVED that the elevators operate more rapidly!!! So very pleased about this!!!

The hotel is nice, rooms are spacious with a couch and double sinks in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel is in a great location. Very walkable to bars and restaurants.

Pretty hotel that attracts inconsiderate guests
This is my second time staying at this hotel. I like a lot of the amenities—swizzle, the spa, the bar, etc. I also like the walkability to downtown restaurants and activities. However, both times I’ve stayed here, the quality of the other guests was not good. The last time, we had to be moved at 2am after several complaints were made by us about our neighbors smoking weed and yelling for hours into the early morning. This time, it was loud music and a large group of girls coming and going LOUDLY in the halls. I will never stay here and let them put me in a room near the stairs or elevators again—HORRIBLE. None of to amenities makes up for the poor quality of others who stay there. Now that it’s happened twice, it would definitely discourage my return. Also, why is the bedding so skimpy? You are basically given a sheet and mega thin blanket to sleep with. I had to call multiple times for blankets and they only bring you one more blanket each time.
