The people we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. The aesthetics of the hotel were fun: artistic, trendy, classy all at once. Our room had a great shower as well.

Really lovely hotel for the price. The lobby restaurant wasn’t open, not sure what was going on there. Rooms are cozy and clean. Only gripes are that the lighting sucked and it was very dark in the room at night and would have liked a smart tv to cast or stream.

I was disappointed at check in to be told I could not use my Discover card at check in, the young lady at the desk said “yeah that one never seems to work” and did not take the card from my hand and asked for a visa or mc. However later as we enjoyed Bar Genevieve my Discover card was accepted. Our double queen room was lovely. As a “glam” type female I would have enjoyed having a large mirror in the actual room for natural light while doing makeup and hair. If you’re the all natural type the dimly light bathroom and hallway mirror is fine but not for applying a full face of makeup! Overall we truly enjoyed our quick visit.

A cute independent hotel with some character, but a few faults during our stay. The power for the building was out for 12.5 hours (5p-530a) on night 2 of our stay. The other two name brand hotels had power and such the entire time, we almost booked again since the updates given on our building just kept saying in 3hrs it will be fixed 5 times. No hot water during that, no lights, no charging. They didn’t have the mini market open for food or drink either. We also tried to go to the speakeasy to even just check it out and the person working said no one else could go in, and they’re not letting anyone in without an rsvp for the rest of the night. This was at 9p, which I felt was odd. They should leave some access for hotel guests if they’re going to have the building bar be part of the offerings. We didn’t seek to have our room serviced, but we did ask for towels the morning of our departure. It took multiple attempts of this request to get two towels though. While checking out the guests in front of us had complaints and it took quite awhile to check out. We dropped our key off and left at that point.

We had the BEST experience at this hotel. Not expensive by any means, but it had every bit of high quality standards. We travel often in the US, and this went above and beyond expectations. It was super clean, staff was very accommodating and polite, and every detail of the hotel is well thought out and made the experience. The bars were great as well. Valet was super convenient and well worth the money. Definitely recommend, and we will be returning when in the area.

I really wanted to love this hotel, but we just ran into issue after issue - especially for a hotel that’s supposed to be “Michelin Key”. From the time we arrived, literally stepping out of the car the service was not ideal. The temperature was below 40 degrees, and the valet asked us to wait so he could take a phone call. We were left in the cold holding all our things with no way to get into the hotel because the only entrance by valet required a room key to enter. We finally got inside, and were told that even though I had called ahead to request a room with a bath tub because my wife was passing a kidney stone, that this was not an option. I brought up that I was an Expedia gold member and that one of the benefits was supposed to be a free room upgrade if available, and they said they had no ability to upgrade us. We haven’t run into this at other hotels, and we checked their website where there were multiple rooms available to book that night when we arrived. When we got to our room there was no mini bar or water available even though that’s prominently advertised on the hotel’s website. I went down to ask if those amenities were still available and to ask to borrow a bottle opener, and was told by the front desk that those amenities had been stripped from every room, and if I wanted to use a bottle opener I would have to buy one from the hotel. The above were the main issues, but there were other smaller ones too. Would not recommend for the price.

Amazing staff, everyone is so nice. Cuban restaurant across street is amazing. Beds are super comfy. Must get coffee downstairs amazing and shout out to the best Valet Harold! This is a above and beyond hotel.
