The hotel was very comfortable. Needs some updates. Big 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. But no closet in the bedroom. Had to use entry closet for hanging purposes. Plenty of room for armoire in the bedroom. Also room for a chair. Understand its a two story hotel but very well kept. Check in and out was very smooth. Was also able to have a early check-in which was very convenient. First time to stay at this hotel but will return in the future. The hotel was full Friday night but very quiet. Close to major highway but no traffic noise. Big Plus. Cable tv so easy to use instead of streaming networks. Another big plus. Good value for the money.

We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness. Of all the places we have stayed, this is definitely one of the cleanest! I rated the condition as fair because the property needs some remodeling, but I can't stress enough about the cleanliness. Kudos to the housekeeping crew! We will definitely stay again.

Old hotel
Very old and nothing was new or up to date. TV in room was so small. There was only hot water and scoot water. The room as well as other places had a strange odor. Overall it just was not a pleasant place to stay at.

We loved our stay at the Ashmore Inn & Suites and wished we'd discovered it earlier as we've made many trips to Lubbock. The staff shared with great pride that the property is privately owned. It may not have all of the amenities of the large luxury chain hotels but it was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe. We will definitely book again.
