MCM Elegante Hotel in Lubbock, Texas
This hotel is located just northwest of downtown Lubbock, Texas. Downtown Lubbock shows no signs of revitalization yet. (That could change the wisdom of this downtown hotel.)a There is a Buddy Holly museum a few blocks from the hotel for those who are interested in the beginnings of Rock music in the 50's. Choices of food locations are much better in the suburbs than near this hotel. The hotel does have a nice indoor swimming pool. Staff and friendly and useful. Rooms are clean and inviting. Parking is free.

The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. The breakfast, which is included, had lots of choices, plus there was a cook to prepare omelettes from scratch! Excellent!! We will stay there again. Only wish they had an outdoor pool!

The Hotel is overrated and overpriced for quality
The customer service was wonderful. The hotel is an old fixer upper with minimal quality. I have picture to reflect rodent, nice size roach climbing on the wall. The advertisement doesn’t meet the quality. I traveled with other family members and their complaints are not good.

It was a good stay for the price. I am in Lubbock every other month and I have stayed at nicer, better kept, hotels for about $20 more. Overall though, it was decent.

The front desk staff is super friendly. The breakfast is great.. but.. our room was pretty dingy the shower didn’t drain and the toilet didn’t flush. They did send someone up to fix it right away. The maintenance man was friendly, but the issue wasn’t fixed. The room got very hot at night. The restaurant in the hotel had some of the worst food I have ever had. We ordered nachos.. I am not sure how you mess up nachos but they did. All and all definitely won’t stay the there again.
