Didn't even open the cabin for the season
This is the dirtiest property I have ever set foot it and I have stayed in many across the country. It was clear this cabin was barely opened in the spring for the season. Upon arrival, my wife and I spent time rinsing spiders and dead bugs from the kitchen, shower, and bathroom sink. There was a musty, dusty odor. Upon inspection, there were dead flies and bugs in all the window sills, which, could be forgiven, but then found the same in the bedsheets. The blinds did not work and were not dusted. My wife had allergies from all the dust. We found, when we were cleaning - yes, cleaning, upon arrival, that the water pressure was poor. Turns out it wasn't just poor, the water system was not turned on for the year. At this point, we left the property at 8pm and drove home and messaged the host the next day were were outta there. On top of the poor condition of the home the neighbors were smoking outside watching us load and unload the entire time. Not worth it

Fishing on the bone.
Great property clean, nice amenities provided in the house, great setting on the lake. My only negative was the dock had been removed before our stay for winter and we missed having a dock for our boat. You would need to check with the property managers to make sure dock is there to use if staying at the property later in year. We stayed first week in October. They were very quick to answer any concerns would stay again at the property.

Cozy cabin, quiet, and very enjoyable vacation!
The home was very warm and comfortable. Needs quite a few minor repairs throughout. Lake level is down but we had no trouble enjoying the lake. Outside property is well attended and spacious. Local wildlife was fun to watch. Mark Brunner was extremely helpful and friendly! We had a great time. Thanks so much.

Hot Water
Not bad on the outside of the property, but the inside was not what I expected. The light switches are everywhere and some did nothing at all. I'm guessing that there are at least a handful of light bulbs that need to be replaced. I've seen better furniture in a second hand store, but the kicker was that there was no hot water!! I did get a refund for this, but when you have plans and travel 13 hours you don't expect to have to repack all your "stuff" and find another place at a moments notice!

The Best nature has to offer!!!!
The wild life is amazing, we saw bald eagles, a family of swans, and loons from the pier. The fire pit and large yard were perfect to enjoy yard games and cook pudgy pies, the sunset was beautiful as well. Our kids loved catching little fish off the pier and I found pleasure in using my Kayak around the bay. My husband was able to tie up his fishing boat with ease. Having 2 nice bathrooms with shower and tub combination was great. Just be sure to pull the door toward you to enter the code to open the outside door, it took me a bit to figure that out. The porch was and extension of the living room with climate control for a comfy third sleeping area and nice and roomy for a kids craft area. We had a fantastic family vacation. Peggy Eller

Comfortable cabin on a peaceful lake bay
Comfortable cabin with all the resources necessary for a pleasant stay. We travel with elderly/disabled parents; the floorplan was very accommodating to our special needs. Mark was very communicative and took care of one pending issue cordially and respectfully. This end of Bone Lake is quiet, with swans and eagles visiting regularly. The deck was a very comfortable place to hang out and enjoy the landscape.

Great VRBO
The cabin on Bone Lake is beautiful and well-appointed, with comfortable rooms. The AC worked well and we had a very comfortable king sized bed and our relatives had a comfortable full-sized bed. The bathrooms were nice. Problems: the ice maker has never worked and we had to get ice in town the first evening. We are fishermen and there was no place to get rid of fish waste. As directed by the property manager, we burned ours in the backyard fire pit with a pyre of firewood on top. The cabin water was drinkable and very cold or hot as desired. The towels and such were fine. There was lots of room to park and move boats and trailers about We had good TV reception, but had to get a DVD player from the property manager. A gas grill would have been nice. Whomever cleaned ahead of us, needed to check things out better. There was hair and dirt behind the doors and in corners of our bathroom and a towel rack was pulled part way out of the wall. I recommend a large floor mat inside the cabin door for sandy shoes. Still, it is a nice home away from home in a beautiful part of the country, and the property manager was all over our needs.

Cozy, comfortable and a Beautiful View
We stayed at Mark and Courtney’s cabin from May 6th to May 9th for my husband’s birthday. We brought along our dog, Mabel and our 9 year old nephew. This two bedroom 2 bathroom cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. It’s unpretentious as compared to it’s bigger, fancier neighbors. It’s got a great 4 season porch that I just loved. The decor is “lived in” and reminds me of my favorite aunt’s decor style from the late 1980s-1990s. It might be slightly outdated but it’s a cabin! Who wants sleek and modern at a lake home? The price was very reasonable for the location RIGHT ON THE LAKE! They have their own private dock which was great for taking sunset photos. The lake public access is just down the road also. It was a bit too early in the season for swimming but it was beautiful to see all the birds flying over the lake. We saw a pair of eagles swooping down to the water to catch fish at eye level. It was amazing. My nephew and husband took the dog on a walk and they saw a black bear down the road!! They were safe, as the bear hightailed it to a tree and climbed up the tree. You don’t see that in the cities! We enjoyed the fire pit every evening. One thing that would have been on my wish list would be an outdoor grill for cooking the burgers and brats. But the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking indoors. The beds were comfortable and the television had Netflix which my nephew loved. The best part of this trip was we could bring our dog. She is part of our family and this property allows pets which is hard to come by. Mark was very kind and prompt in answering any and all questions. Thank you! We hope to return again soon.

Great Property on Bone Lake
We had a wonderful time at this property! Nice flat lot with beautiful lake views. The boat dock is sturdy and close to the cabin. Cozy firepit and the cabin is so pretty when lit up at night. Spacious deck. So nice to find a place we can bring our dog who loves to go boating/fishing! There is plenty of room and the futon/beds were very comfortable with nice bedding. Good TV. Easy check in via keypad. We found an amazing grocery store right outside of Luck. A fantastic stay on a prime lake!

Caveat emptor
Our experience: We paid all monies due and even bought the extra insurance. Upon arrival, we entered a door code to enter. However, there was a .75-1" gap between the left side of the door and frame. Later, we discovered this was one of the major sources that allowed insects into the cabin. The cabin needed A LOT of work and was extremely dirty. There were holes and cracks in the walls, dust everywhere (Almost an inch on the fans), dirty air conditioner, broken fixtures, TV remote with food and grease on it, etc. The ad said Covid safe but we had to clean and sterilize everything. We spent 5 hours cleaning the place. Even the air conditioner! Check out the following videos of our experience in YouTube. Search for the address of this cabin. The ad also claimed dog friendly. However, the dogs played in the back and went in the lake and beach. Part of which was owned by neighbor. He came out upset. He turned out to be really nice and informed us about a lot of things regarding where we were staying. Bottom line... dirty cabin where owners would wear dirty shoes and boots on floors. Messy and dirty habits. We informed the owner and he did nothing to accommodate our situation. We DO NOT recommend staying here.

Wonderful family vacation
We enjoyed the cabin very much! The setting and views of the lake are beautiful! Plenty of space for our dogs to run around! Not a swimming shore... Cabin was cozy. Kitchen had very small cooking pots and pans but it worked! A couple of us suffer from dust allergies so dust in the cabin made it a little uncomfortable😒 Lots of fun games! Overall it was a very nice week! We recommend this place for a relaxing time!

Good escape
We enjoyed the cabin on Bone Lake and were especially thankful we could bring our dogs. The porch is fantastic and the AC in the house was nice on the hotter days. We had hoped to be able to swim off of the property, but it was pretty mucky and used the nearby park/boat landing instead. It was wonderfully quiet, the accommodations were clean, comfortable and we even saw a doe and her fawn one morning.
