Romantic River Front Log Cabin! Beautiful mountain views

This cabin is the same style as the Goose and Gander Cabins, however we took it to new levels. There is a rock fireplace, beautiful glass front with a large deck with a 6-person hot tub overlooking the river. A master bedroom with a king size bed. A loft bedroom with a 2 queen size beds. Both bedrooms have huge windows for star gazing or looking at the local scenery. Beautiful log construction. The cabin has a full kitchen, including a dishwasher. The cabin has hard wood floors throughout.
The best feature is the views of the river and the mountains,phenomenal!

Lovely Luray
Charming, spacious very relaxing place to unwind. Far enough to feel away from any hustle bustle. Close enough to Luray to make amenities at hand in a few minutes. Really lovely town, we found everyone engaging and quick to smile. Views of splendor everywhere and are enjoyed best from the hot tub on the deck. Definitely take the time to check out Massanutten Country Corner

Gander Lodge was perfect for our short stay. Close to Luray Caverns and Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We enjoyed the views, hot tub and accommodations in the cabin. Would definitely stay again!!

Nice cabin with good layout and excellent location, close to everything in Luray. The mattresses and pillows were comfy, and the chairs in the basement were a nice touch. My one complaint is the kitchen: there weren’t many items to cook or bake with, and the ones there were older, scratched and rusty. The river was also fairly hard to access—we didn’t end up using the kayaks we brought because we didn’t think we could get them down and back. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Retreat and Hideaway
Absolutely loved this stay, what a beautiful place to relax and escape, by the river surrounded by trees, not too far to venture to some activities and the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah River. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stargazing and watching the fireflies at night and even got to watch a short lightning storm across the next valley. Only a 6/7 min drive to the supermarket, petrol station and some fast food places, a few more mins to the centre of Luray where there are a few small shops, cafes and a great ice-cream parlour. Our only very minor issue was that from the listing before booking it wasn’t obvious that we needed to bring our own bedding, and travelling from the UK that was an issue. However as soon as I messaged them about this they said they would sort it out for us. As soon as we arrived they were straight round with the bedding and towels and answered any questions we had. Great hosts, would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone that was looking to stay in the Luray area.

Check in was super easy. Got there and settled and sat in the chairs on the deck for a while. It stormed that night which was really cool to watch with the huge windows on the front. Storm came right in over the deck. Place was really nice and peaceful. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on a couple lights and the ceiling fan was a little bit of a pain to deal with but other than that absolutely awesome. Fiancé asked if we could start coming out to this place more so we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Quiet Retreat
We loved our stay at this fabulous cabin. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable but I'll be honest that we spent almost every waking moment enjoying the river and mountain views from the balcony. The setting was so serene and the sound of the river and nature put us at ease from the moment we walked up the steps. We enjoyed fishing, walking the river banks, playing cornhole and relaxing in the hot tub. A++ stay! Thank you for hosting us!

Wonderful little cabin
Cozy cabin that has just about everything you could need! You will need to bring your own linens or purchase their linen package. Other than that, great place. The hot tub was an excellent spot to relax after a long day of hiking. And once you’re done there, move inside to lounge on the couch in front of the gas fireplace. Would definitely return!

Anything you needed was a ride down the road; hot tub AWESOME. Cabin well equipped. Sound of the river all day and night + perfect sized fire pit! Dogs were so relaxed and got good exercise going up and down stairs! So did mom & dad!! Downstairs picnic table perfect for hot afternoons out of the sun. The gorgeous pine trees made it even more fun as my female Bull Terrier likes to trance under the branches. It was a little hot while we were here, and A/C was perfect as the cabin is newer and seems very well insulated. Hot Showers/ Comfy bed! Yay!!

Beautiful cabin in perfect location!
This was our second stay. Same host, different cabin. This cabin was spacious and had all the features. Excellent location with nice view and close to Skyline Drive. Fire pit, hot tub, charcoal grill and full kitchen. Highly recommend and we will be back!
