Welcome to the Byrd's Nest!!

It is a fully updated cabin overlooking beautiful lake Eufaula! Enjoy great water views from large picture windows in living room as well as from two of the three bedrooms. Or walk out to the enormous deck and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while taking in the views. Deer are frequently spotted from the deck. The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a bunk/game room and a large kitchen featuring granite countertops and double wall oven. Enjoy a long soak in either of the two bathtubs. You can bring your boat and tie it up in the boat dock all weekend. The kids will love jumping off the dock and swimming. The home is conveniently located five minutes off of Highway 69 and Texanna Rd. Come relax and enjoy all that Lake Eufaula provides!!

Girls Trip
We were a group of six high school friends from the Choctaw High School. Class of 1966 and 1967. Yep! Just a bunch of “old” ladies acting like we are sixteen again. Had a wonderful time sitting on the cabin deck overlooking the lake and occasional wildlife. The walk to the fire pit and the boat dock on the lake is a little steep for seniors, but it is doable. Beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable. Bunk room beds are mostly suitable for the younger generation. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was perfect. Hope to make the trip to Eufaula again next year and stay in this lovely lake home.

Beautiful house on the lake
We loved our stay here. The house has a great layout for a group. Roomy common spaces, and large comfortable bedrooms, plus a bunk room/gameroom. The grandkids really enjoyed the foosball table and available games.

We enjoyed the view and the open concept for our family Christmas gathering! Saw a family of deer strolling through the backyard by the lake both days which was a real treat! Host was quick to respond and helpful. Would consider staying again.

The house has a great view from the picture windows. Plenty of room for all to move around. The only issue we had was getting down the driveway with the boats we brought. But you should expect that from a lake home. I would recommend this place to anyone. The wildlife was a bonus!

Overall, the house was perfect for our needs. For the number of guest the house can accommodate, a third bathroom would be nice but we made it work. My bed was nice and the sheets were quality. Homeowner was accommodating for special request. A few FYI’s: * the walk down (and back up) to the water/dock can be a challenge with loose rocks. Additionally, stacked large rocks make the step up to the dock walkway and they are wobbly. *sitting in the shade under the covered dock, beware of at least 50 active mud dauber nest. *showers not supplied with soap or shampoo…bring your own. *gravel drive leaving the property, 4-wheel drive had to be activated.

Great house on the water with doc access!
We really really enjoyed the layout of the home and the size of the rooms. Everything we needed was right there and if we were to need something we wouldn’t have to travel far. The home is on a great part of the lake. Our kids loved everything about the lake home. We parked our boat in the dock slip with no issues. One thing to note is the drive way is not accessible with large trailer or boat. We have a F-250 and a 25’ wakeboard boat. It was not possible for us to make it to the house and turn around. We had to park our truck & trailer in an open lot up the hill form the home.

Welcome to the Lake
We do a 3 family get together every year; includes 6 adults and 4 kids. This property was just what we needed to get away and catch up with each other! There is 3 nice sized rooms and a bunk room for the kids. The boat dock came in handy for our pontoon. The kids were able to swim in the cove and play in the backyard. The owner was very nice and made checking in and out a breeze!! Thank you

This group of 13 ladies (ages 37-58) have gotten together annually for the last 15+ years. We started out floating the river and staying at a flea bag motel. As we've matured we're able to have nicer things; one of those things is this trip. I think we might have found our new retreat home.

The Perfect Lake House!
First and foremost, Gavin was an incredible host. The property is immaculately maintained with every single amenity you could want. The property is spacious and exceptionally clean. The views from the deck in the morning were my favorite thing. This property is fully equipped for your friends or family, and has every imaginable cooking utensil, and a great kitchen.
