A unique post-and-beam century home set on 2 acres of tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of busy streets. Located near the ocean, this haven offers an unforgettable experience. Watch deer graze on the grounds and enjoy the soothing sounds as birdsong fills the air. Whether sipping morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty create the perfect escape for relaxation.

Built in 1895, this post and beam home offers a unique blend of history and warmth, featuring maritime-themed decor and a distinctive stained glass lobster window in the Queen bedroom. Nestled in one of Nova Scotia's most picturesque towns, you can easily explore charming shops, cafes, restaurants and a brewery, and after a day of exploration or adventure, return to your peaceful retreat.

An 8-minute walk from your doorstep will take you to the stunning water’s edge, where you can watch sailboats glide by. Just a bit further, in another 15 minutes, you’ll find the calm, rustling waters of Westhaver’s Beach. Fancy an adventure? Lunenburg, home of the legendary Bluenose II, is just a 10 minute drive away, where you can even set sail on this iconic vessel! Halifax is an hour's drive away, and Peggy's Cove, home to Canada's most photographed lighthouse, is less than an hour's drive.

Our accommodation offers something for everyone, whether it’s a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a girls’ weekend away. The spacious King Bedroom Suite boasts a luxurious king-size bed and a double futon sofa bed, ideal for kids or extra guests. A second cozy Queen bedroom which features a unique stained glass lobster window and welcomes extra guests, accommodating up to 6 people between the 2 bedrooms. We’ve thought of every detail, including convenient cellphone chargers in each room.

Feel at home in our fully-equipped kitchen, stocked with all the cookware and spices you’ll need to create delicious meals. A dedicated coffee bar with complimentary coffee and tea awaits you, ensuring you start your day just right. Gather around the dining table for 6, perfect for sharing meals and stories from your day’s adventures.

Outside, the fun continues. Fire up the BBQ and enjoy dining al fresco on our deck, surrounded by the beauty of the landscape. Sip your morning coffee or unwind with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. Want more? You’ll have access to two 2-person inflatable kayaks, perfect for a paddle on the bay, and a badminton set for some outdoor fun.

Please note that the bathroom is located on the main floor, while the bedrooms are upstairs, and therefore not a wheelchair accessible home. However, we are excited to announce that coming April 2025, we’ll be adding a convenient upstairs powder room (toilet and sink) to enhance your stay.
