Close to the SPIRE institute, Geneva-on-the-Lake, wineries, golfing and parks, Mae's Haven is the perfect place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Nestled in a quaint neighborhood less than a mile from the lake, it's the perfect place to sip wine around the fire pit, relax in the NEW HOT TUB, grill on the patio or curl up on the couch lost in a book.

We have 2 exterior security cameras - a ring doorbell camera on the front door of the property and flood light camera on the driveway to monitor the exterior of the home.

We really enjoyed our stay for the night for a moms night away! Our only complaint was the hot tub was not very hot and we could not figure out how to get the outdoor lights to work but everything else was clean and accommodating.

Girls Trip to GOTL
Cute, comfy, and cozy place! Everything was clean and in place when we arrived. Great place to sit back and enjoy a girls weekend! 15 min drive to the attractions on GOTL, also, we had an awesome local Uber named Brian that was full of knowledge of the area and got us safely to and from! Great communication with owner with check in and when needing assistance with the hot tub water level. The hot tub needed skimmed from residue that was probably from not being on much lately and could have been warmer but is not and was not a deal breaker for us, we still highly enjoyed! Thank you for the cutest welcome basket as well! We appreciate your house and would recommend to others.

Such a nice place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, updated, and quiet location. Also just a special shout-out for having the most comfortable mattresses. We had a great time. Would stay here again.

We had a great time at this Modern Cottage. The place was roomy, clean, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place had plenty of seating! The hosts also thought of everything even leaving little treats for us! Even though this place is not located on the water it is very close. It is also close to many beautiful wineries.

Girls Night Away
Mae’s Haven is everything it’s listed to be and more! The house is adorable and was very accommodating to our group of 5. It’s evident that the owners pride themselves in the cleanliness of the house. Every amenity you could need they provided; from towels to kitchen appliances to the hot tub. The welcome treats were a cute added surprise and greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!!

Honestly was the best VRBO that we have stayed at. Only 15 minutes from SPIRE and mile from Lake Erie. House was perfect. Clean hot tub and they even had sweet surprises for us!

Mother & Daughters Getaway Weekend
Home was so adorable and perfect! It was our yearly getaway to remember their late father’s Birthday and the home had everything we needed and things we didn’t think we needed. So cozy and comfy! One night getaway
When we walked in to our place we were all so happy with our choice! The set up was great for 7 people. Kitchen table fit us all to play cards and have plenty of room for moving around in the kitchen. It was extremely clean and well put together. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. If we ever take another to to Ashtabula-Geneva we will definitely be booking this little gem!

Beautiful home near Lake Erie
This home is so lovely and relaxing. My family and I stayed here 2 nights on our way to New York. Hosts have created a welcoming and comfortable space for you and your guests to relax, enjoy nearby attractions (wineries, Lake Erie) and unwind. Special features of the house include a stocked coffee/tea bar, well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook, relaxing outdoor area to eat/hang out and very comfortable beds. Check-in process smooth and communication with the hosts is so easy. Of note, hosts took the time to create a comprehensive booklet describing all the features of the house, local attractions, etc. Wish more places did this! Bonus is that Lake Erie beach is less than 1 mile from the house. Thanks for a lovely and relaxing stay.

Fantastic Girls Trip to GOTL
Mae's Haven was absolutely AMAZING! It was extremely clean and like new! The style of the home is modern and cozy. The beds are VERY comfortable and we enjoyed the shower head in the bathroom. Mae's Haven provided everything we needed for a girl's weekend and it is centrally located to the area beaches, wineries and shopping. I would absolutely stay again!!
